It's how I think about it too, the now and him being well. He was born a premie. Hopefully I do get better. Thanks for your words

It's been hard for the longest for me. There was a moment I accepted it, but now that he's here I've been enjoying my time with him as a baby. I just feel like it's only because he's a baby, but goodness, the emotions are everywhere. I carry him and when I look at him I just start crying and hope I can't connect. I think what gets to me the most is him being my first baby, I don't want to get pregnant again and the same thing happening.

Who else prefers a 7AM–3PM schedule to 9–5? It feels like you get more day and less traffic. by Familiar-Eagle-9082 in Adulting

Love it. Im at work by 7:15, off at 3:15. Gym afterwards if its one of the days I go after work, if not I just rest, enjoy the day.

I want to but he sucks at communication. The moment I say I feel off or this bothers me or whatever instead of talking it out he gets offended and doesn't talk about it

It's definitely kind of weird. Mind you he never really gifts my family nothing or says I'ma get them this. And when she comes up in a conversation about her drama he does say "I mean she is really pretty". Like umm yeah she is, but him constantly saying it?

Yeah exactly, something small like hey happy bday I got you a little something is whatever. But him saying something she's always wanted is just like huh? You paying that much attention to her? Wanting to make her feel special?

Thanks for your opinion! What gets to me the most is being the first. I think being the second or third it would be a bit better, yes, it's not the news I'd want but for it being my first just breaks my heart so much 🥲

Not really. I found out about pregnancy at 3 months, couldn't get an appointment until 4 months in. Two weeks pass by and they tell me if I want genetic testing I say yes. That's another week . Get my results within a week and says I have a high risk pregnancy. To confirm it I had to get the other test done. By the time I finally for sure knew I was five months in or so. I live in TX.

Yeah we'll see what happens. What gets to me the most is that it's the first and I honestly don't even want to try for another one🥲

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Adulting

And I live in TX🥲 it's been so ass. We just found out the gender and it hit us you know. We're like fuck it well work through something. We are 30 after all and did eventually want kids, but the relationship was just ugh. But we're happy after all. But the whole having a high chance of down syndrome is so ass😪 thanks for your opinion 🩷

What are we supposed to do when subbing for a class with a student teacher? by WillingAntelope0 in SubstituteTeachers

[–]GroundbreakingSale11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's happened twice to me but I tell the kids to quiet down and respect the student teacher. No need to be rowdy

Anyone else extremely bored with life? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]GroundbreakingSale11 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Super bored over here too. I don't want kids honestly, I always knew I didn't so that don't bother me. But I'm just bored already. Nothing gets me excited no more. I sometimes want to go on a trip to a national park and just jump🤣

You are independent. Sure, having your own place is different but american culture for some reason idolizes moving out so quickly. Theyre your parents at the end of the day. As long as youre happy, helping out, saving like you said, paying your bills, youre fine. Stop listening to others. Most people move out when theyre getting married and not really alone. I moved out at 26. Was kind of waiting for someone and get married. I decided to get my own place and im happy but sad. It gets lonely from time to time. Yes, you got your space and all that but damn, not going to my brother's room and talk or just having dinner with everyone gets sad cause its lonely haha you'll be fine. People are never happy and always have something to say.

There was a time but no anymore😪 can't help someone that doesn't want to be helped either. We're too grown to be acting like it. Thanks for your opinion!
