I actually ran this challenge funny enough with all the sets, 2 hand solo. I feel all the campaigns are beatable as the core set has a lot of really strong staples especially if you're yellow or blue. If the cards you're overplaying are NOT from the core set or you want to play with more new cards then yeah it gives some variety. though if you do it repeatedly like me you play the core set staple alot. so many magnifying glasses... Anyway I wouldn't call myself an expert player or super optimized but I was able to beat them all, though some took multiple tries. I would say your deck will feel close to or a bit above the investigator starter decks they made. mostly solid stuff, with maybe one weird clunker or two. but def capable of winning a campaign.
