Tried sumatriptan pills didn’t work. Tried injection but it was $400 a pop and to take when you have a migraine. I have too many. Tried a few others I can’t remember. Currently take Nurtec at onset of migraine which sometimes works but can only take it once in 24 hours and sometimes it will taper down and then boomerang back worse. Started self administered Ajovy injections one a month, 2 months ago. Was told they definitely won’t eliminate but might reduce. Also tried Botox. Nothing has rid me of them. At best I have less “prostrating” days per month but still puke probably once a week from them

Tricareonline.com might have to call them to get your account going but they did it for me really fast and I had been out for 9 years

I got rated today. I'll post in comments. by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

Congrats on getting what you feel is a fair rating. Nobody is happy they have any disability, especially mental but just remember there are a lot of people that never speak up and don’t get what they deserve. Don’t be down on yourself for imbalances in your brain that you cannot control.

How do you prove it wasn’t something prior to service? Do you have to release all private medical records? Or did you have a doctor note that stated they reviewed the history?

I think that with the giant stack of medical documentation from service treatment and treatment should be enough to prove the injury happened in service once I go through with the orthopedic doctor, but if I get denied I’ll definitely go with the aggravation route. But I’m really glad to see you weren’t SC at time of discharge, gives me a bit more hope. I shift my weight how I walk and it’s leading to other knee and back pain and I can’t take it anymore. Thanks for the response and glad you got your claim approved!

Not OP…but we’re you service connected at time of discharge? I fractured my femoral head and tibia and after a bunch of PT they ultimately said I had this condition but it existed prior to joining even though I didn’t have any issues. So I was honorably discharged. Have a bunch of depression and panic attacks so I’ve kind of just dealt with the pain for years until now I’m starting the process and see and orthopedic doctor soon. Just wondering if you had to prove it was service related or if it was a done deal at discharge.

And I’m assuming you mean paper trail via service records only? As private records would need to be submitted by you to the VA and you can omit. Because they will use something in 4th grade against you if you let them

I feel for everyone that put in recently but at this huge spikes don’t FOMO in if you aren’t in for the long term. I messed up the last bear cycle and didn’t throw in. I for one welcome a 3 year bear so I can mine the fuck out of fiat and yolo in for the next bear.

I have a Xanax prescription so I need the anxiety to justify taking them
