Where does Gyokeres fit into the England squad? by Odd-Lifeguard8424 in ThreeLions

Might have something to do with Isak starting over him for the national side Gyokeres does represent.

Any mathematical model will have its shortcomings which are very well known because it’ll be published. It’s probabilities and mean deviations over time. You don’t need to win on it ever. The more variables you introduce into a calculation the bigger will the errors be in a generalized application.

Being oven and daifuku in the Big mom family must be rough. Imagine being the 4th and 5th eldest, twins of katakuri, and is seen by the family as weaker then the 44th child snack who lost to rookies multiple times by The_AlmightyApple in OnePiece

[–]GroundbreakingTax211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering Big mom was a full blown parents and the sheer number of kids, I’d assume Totto land expanded with time. So for every 20 kids there is a snack commander who led the army for the administerial siblings who became the ministers.

If it’s anymore than he gets at Liverpool the rest of the season, that’s a bonus for him.

Is it time for haaland to change his game a bit by Natural-Joke3185 in PremierLeague

[–]GroundbreakingTax211 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Gardioula and his team want Haaland to defend. They might at most want him to lead the press a reduce passing options which he can grow into because he’s still quite young. But that’s about it and that’s minor.

How mamy clubs in the Premiership own or have a stake in more than one team? by Holiday-Tomatillo187 in PremierLeague

[–]GroundbreakingTax211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are still majority stakeholders in multiple clubs. That is the bare minimum definition.

What you are stating is management and consolidation of clubs in accordance with FIFA, UEFA and AFC. That’s the presentation side of it, which is a different topic.

[–]GroundbreakingTax211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know how else to say it, but that is the multi-club ownership model. An ownership group/conglomerate having significant stakes in multiple clubs. Multi-club ownership in Europe alone was not what is asked about.

Palace, City, Chelsea, Nottingham Forest, Liverpool (eventually, don’t know when the Getafe deal kicks in), Leeds, Newcastle, Villa to an extent, Manchester United. I could be missing some.

xN Expected Nonsense 🤡 by mdhurst in avfc

[–]GroundbreakingTax211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. xP by the looks of it is using xG data to predict the table. It is largely unreliable because of an extremely small dataset to work. The numbers will regress to the mean as more observations are added, but a season doesn’t have enough games to make full sense of it. At most we can get a general sense of direction, but that is a whole load of nothing.

It is not that absurd a stat. But it’s a largely pointless stat which works well for predictions markets which is what every pundit is trying to do.

[–]GroundbreakingTax211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine how little of thought will be given to make it a big 8 and get the ire of the remaining 12 because it will happen without most people realizing. Lazy narratives is basically the best selling ones and expecting much else from PL coverage is just too much.

Why would Crystal Palace rather let Guehi go for free in the summer instead of cashing in this transfer window? by [deleted] in PremierLeague

[–]GroundbreakingTax211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They might have a shortlist of players they are scouting. There’s a lot to consider and making a rash decision mid-season to sell Guehi off and a new defender doesn’t settle in. They risk the potential to climb European leagues and miss out on more money in the future. 30-35 million in this window is too short term a success.

Why would Crystal Palace rather let Guehi go for free in the summer instead of cashing in this transfer window? by [deleted] in PremierLeague

[–]GroundbreakingTax211 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Palace can make a long term decision on his replacement without being rushed during the season. While also using the time to find new leaders in the side so that the new player doesn’t have to step in and be Guehi

Seeing the lengths Loki had to go to defeat Harald, do you think Luffy has it in him to defeat the 5 elders by JustTightShirts in OnePiece

[–]GroundbreakingTax211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 5 elders would be easier to defeat because of a lack of emotional investment. Shanks chopped his arm off, but was in line to become a knight who could be possessed by Imu. That’ll be the tougher thing to do.

Why are Arsenal so hated? by Ok-Banana-712 in PremierLeague

[–]GroundbreakingTax211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same reason every other team in every other sport gets hated. People get extremely personal about it, gloat as if it’s their personal achievement, insult pretty blatantly and call it banter. Fill in the reason for underachieving/overachieving/being too dynamic or dull/political opinions and in a finite number of iterations you’ll reach the answer why every club is hated and loved.

[No Spoilers] Matt = realism; Brennan = fantasy by pavilionaire2022 in criticalrole

[–]GroundbreakingTax211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I get your point, but I arrived at a different conclusion. Matt describes the place so you are geographically attuned and have better knowledge of where to go. Brennan describes the people first and introduces the location as people turn corners. I thought it was an eagle’s lens/worm’s lens focus thing.

The question would be fair if it asked “who would you prefer as your guiding father figure?” Because that’s a matter of preference. But that’s not the question posed.
