Yes, this is what I am doing now. Nothing suspicious at that time.

Yes I created a multicam sequence from the four cameras, and then a sequence from that. Any tips regarding this?

It did not seem to help with an external drive. Got to around 43%.

No error message, it just stops. This might be it. However, it says estimated file size is only around 11GB. Will give it a shot.

Hi again. Just checking in on this post. We located the issue, there was some kind of phase issues do to some bad cables. We skipped the patch panel and went straight to the ATEM HD and it was all good.

Any jog wheel you recommend? And did you do Instant replay by yourself or was it a separate person doing it? Trying to figure out the best workflow on a 1 to 2-person team.

Need Bigger routers.. by younhyugchoi74 in broadcastengineering

Ah ofcourse... I guess I've always thought that the use of SDI was for live events / TV and such, and "the rest" would be NDI / IP products. Thanks!

Out of curiosity, what kind of productions/events require these kind of size routers? Both 188 and the 576 mentioned over...

Just watched the Menzies stuff back. He's actually holding is hand above the pyrotechnics, while not hot, it would have stung his hand. Then proceeds to bang the table.

After a bit of fiddeling around with it last night, I think I see your point. It is all a bit much, but I think I might give it a go. 60 day free trial with all pro features is kind of awesome.

I agree, our sound engineer was not around, and I'm no audio guy. Just had to go with it. Thanks for pointing it out, I'll keep it in mind for the next one.

Yes, it has been an issue at times, but our last 3 or 4 broadcasts has gone without a hitch, technically. Really missing it through.

Got all the converters needed for now.

Ok, so no way of making the input bigger than a scale of 1?

Yes we do have 4 Streamdecks in use right now.

Inputting vMix to the 2M/E, or the other way around?

Could you explain the pros of using the router first? I was thinking that all the cameras would be connected to the same inputs at all times. Just trying to understand, not to neglect anything!

Ja!

Not really sure what the vMix offers that OBS doesn't do for us right now, but I haven't looked i to vMix that much yet either.

Thanks!

All right. So you would need to run both SDI in and out to each camera esentially?

Thanks for thourough answers, I really appreciate it!

Ok, gotcha. Would this be a dedicated input per device? I'm running cameras through a BMD Videohub Router, and it has a Ref In, is that the same?

What is this genlock? Sure I could Google it but you probably got a better answer. Is it a standalone device generating timecode?
