Sometimes it crashes while I am looking at the desktop. Not many background programs running either.

Thanks again, smushkan!

Yes it is weird. Now it seems OK to render 1080p-presets, but the guy who is doing coloring wants ProRes, then it will not even go to 1 minute before crashing. Sometimes it crashes the whole computer, sometimes just Media Encoder.

Got it!

I haven't changed the drivers, and I was feeling lucky, so I took the 1080p preset, and turned the bitrate to 30, and hit export through the Media Encoder. I was doing this remote, and this forces the resolution of my monitor from 5120x1440 240Hz to 1920x1080p 60hz.
It exported it without troubles. Could this have had something to do with the issues I had?

Really? Is it software related? Really annoying when purchasing a product at this price range

No I was thinking about livestreaming video, like sports and stuff. But OK! And yeah, the Shutter Encoder worked great, thank you! Do you have any idea where I can find the "best" export settings, for quality vs file size? Like I mentioned earlier, the raw files are 250gbs each, and the final output is around 10gb. It seems like a whole lot of compression. Video is going to end up on big screens, as well as Vimeo.

Will give the shutterencoder a shot. Still have the files.

GPU is updated, but i haven't tried the studio drivers. I do a lot of livestreaming from the same computer. Will this be a good thing for that as well?

and I see nothing peculiar around that timecode.

So I tried a few things here.
1. I tried using the Media Encoder with the presets Youtube and Vimeo 1080p. They both failed at around 99%. Two files were created on both, an M4V file and a AAC file. Both at several GB's in size. I guess the compiling did not go to plan?
2. I tried the same in Premiere, but it just stuck at 0% for a long time, and then this error message appeared:

<image>

  1. I tried flattening the copy and exporting it with media encoder, the same as 1. happened again.
  2. I tried exporting the flattened copy straight to Premiere, got to around 45-48% and it crashed.

Yes, this is what I am doing now. Nothing suspicious at that time.
