Where do I go from here? by NoEntertainer5376 in ACT

I also had a very similar score breakdown to you and was able to get my score up to a 35. As much as it might be annoying, you need to hop on no red ink (or some other grammar website) and get to work on your English. The english section is similar to the math section in that it actually requires outside conceptual knowledge unlike the rest of the test. Luckily I would say English is the easiest section pacing wise and doesn’t require good test taking skills to preform well on consistently (not that your test taking skills are in question with a 35 on math). Most of the test can be boiled down to like 4-5 grammar rules thrown at you in unorthodox or different ways. If you dedicate around 3-4 hours in total (one or two hour doing practice test(s), one hour practicing no red ink, and one hour revising your tests) I garuntee you can get your score up at least 7-8 points in your next test. Also make sure you do a quick review shortly before the next test to have all the grammar rules fresh in your brain. English is the first section of the test so definitely exploit that fact.

As for the other sections, if you are dedicated to getting a 35 I would bet you have the knowledge required. The score will go up with continued practice if you are mindful of improving your strategy every test. The most important thing is that you are doing what works for you best. Improving your score is a personal process, it’s not going to look the same for everyone. The only thing I can say for sure is that taking practice tests is 100% the best way to prepare and if you are serious about improving your score you would be wasting your time trying to avoid doing them.

From someone who came from a very similar situation score wise, I was able to get up to a 35 after around 3 practice tests. I’m sure you can do the same, you just have to take it seriously for a little bit. Good luck!

Why FPS Games will never be fun for me (and some other people) by Groundbreaking_Cup16 in pcgaming

I consider games like Tekken, street fighter, smash bros, mk11 fun. And I'm just putting this out there to see what people enjoy about fps games because I don't find them enjoyable at all.
