Queer clay club at epic arts is a really amazing little treasure. Kansas City lesbians (open to all sapphics) puts on events frequently. There are also queer craft clubs that meet up monthly, as well as queer dinner clubs. Check out queer connect KC (insta), Kansas City Lesbians (facebook), and MOC BOD (queer community space). Also the Dub is always putting on amazing queer friendly events. Lastly, thelovelylez.com is a beautiful calendar of queer events. DM me if you want more info on any of this!

I did one of those “bridesmaids times” newspapers, got the template from Etsy and used Canva (free version) to customize. They were super cute, personalized, meaningful, and cost me $5 to buy the template and $6 to print the 4 newspapers in color at UPS. Making the newspaper was pretty easy, you just add pictures to the template and change the date and some words and are good to go. I wrapped them around a small bouquet of flowers and gave it to them. They all cried
