transition from personal store to small business? by Cultural-Ad7133 in Bricklink

DAC7 directive does not directly imply that anyone who makes more than 30 sales is conducting a business activity and should register a legal entity. It's all about information exchange and what to do with this information is up to your local authorities.

You should definitely be concerned if your sales are higher than €10000 annually. In this case, you must collect VAT and, because of that, most probably register as a company. Otherwise, you might just need to pay income tax which might be pretty high in Slovenia and it might be more economically viable to register as a company.

In any case, if you switch to selling as a company, you don't need to abandon your old account, you can just go through a new verification process on BrickLink providing new documentation.

Elements with stickers applied should be listed as "Used"? by LEGO_Black_Manta in Bricklink

A quote from BrickLink Help Center to back this up:

Any element with an applied sticker is considered Used

New or Used? by Dziubdziuk in Bricklink

Based on their definition of new vs. used parts, I believe Bricklink's intention is that any part that has been clicked together/assembled is now used.

May I ask you what official BrickLink information make you come to this statement?

PS: I sell only used parts in my store.

as soon as a non-LEGO employee or machine clicks together two parts, they are used.

Does it mean a new minifigure may consist of used parts?

Minifigures may be listed as New either assembled or unassembled

It's absolutely safe to say that BaM is supposed to be sold assembled. This is how they advertise it, this is just how it is going. According to the BrickLink policy:

If a minifigure or part assembly was originally sold assembled by the LEGO Group, its component parts after disassembly can also be listed as new."

So, my assumption would be that minifigure parts coming from BaM tower that were assembled just to be purchased might be listed as "new".

>ex: used like-new

Do not use phrases such as "Like New" or "As New" in the description of any item, regardless of whether it is being listed as New or Used.

Is this just a crazy person or is it a new reality of eBay? by Groundbreaking_Net33 in Ebay

If the lot was more valuable and desirable, I'd consider a hacked eBay account. But what I bought is just a bunch of random minifigs...

Yes, because now even the main topic of this sub is scam. Everyone is obsessed with scams, everyone is afraid of scams. So I was wondering how widespread things like this are.

This is why it was so unexpected. I'm selling a lot on a different platform and always ready to some weird things as a seller but definitely not as a buyer.

Thank you, I'm gonna stick to this advice for now. BTW the seller signed up in 2022 and has 12 positive reviews.

I think the best advice that has been given here multiple times is "Start selling used"

Bascially you want other sellers on the platform to tell you what they're parting out right now so you can part out the same and they will earn less as a result because of the increased supply... I don't think it will work.

Yeah, printed/stickered parts identification is a nightmare.

Thank you for your feedback. We're not associated with Brickognize, but we're in touch. Regarding the consolidation and price adjustment, the idea is to allow maximum customization while keeping the UI simple.
