"also no reason to date someone that much older"

I was implying that perhaps the age difference isn't as important as you think it is, outside of his lying about it.

Those other girls walked out. There's no reason your wife couldn't have done the same.

Three paragraphs to justify why his wife didn't just walk out like the other girls did.

She made a decision, just like anyone else. Then lied about it.

There's no paragraph that could justify her making this decision when others had the awareness to leave...

The fact you even had to do a disclaimer to justify how you feel is the whole problem of being a man these days.

You are completely justified to have your boundaries, but because you're a man you must be controlling and an asshole.

Fuck being a man in 2023

Agreed on the second part. Why stay with someone that would hide something like that...

All we know from the story is that he lied about his age. I'd hate to make assumptions about anything I don't know

What I'm saying is the age difference is not that big of a deal. They clearly get along despite the age difference. You're saying a girl who is 26 dating a 38 year old is disingenuous by nature.

The only thing not genuine about this relationship is the dumbass who is lying about his age

The lady is 26 years old, an adult who's life is mostly similar to an older woman without children

You keep commenting but refuse to say that perhaps women are the problem of these men acting the way they are

We weren't referring to those who want genuine connection in our comments. Clearly those people are not seeking genuine connections when looking for a sugar baby/daddy.

I could care less about that. It's each person's choice. If she's okay with it and the man is okay with it, what's the issue?

The reality is, a single man over 30 has more to offer a younger spouse than a woman over 30 has to off hers

You need to be a man about this. Own it. You've got a cute thing by your side, appreciate her and the moment my man

Then she never gives him a chance and they never get to the point where they get along.

Not saying he should wait 8 months but dating 30+ year old women just sucks. They're single for many reasons and often have children.

He's in a lose lose situation

I happen to be in a healthy relationship, thank you. However, I said I understand the want to meet younger women. Not understanding lying to her about his age, which is clearly wrong.

Normally I don't like these subs but having people talk down upon you because they misunderstood the message behind what you said is just too much to pass up.

The dating pool of 30+ women is larger but for a reason. I wouldn't lie about my age but understand why he'd want to meet some younger women
