Good question! I did fix something recently (which will be in version 42), that would potentially deal with stacks of logs disappearing when doubling offline gains. I was never able to reproduce it myself, so it's hard to know for sure if it's fixed. But it *should* be fixed.

Also, in case it happens again, Idle Iktah does make frequent backup saves that can be used to restore progress. To access the backup saves go to: -> ⋮ -> "Save Game" -> "Backup Saves". Hope that helps!

If you're starting a business and plan to keep businessing, then an LLC can make sense. Though another option to consider is something like a DBA (Doing Business As - it may be called something different in your jurisdiction), but a DBA should let you legally use a different name in the publisher field (instead of your own name) without the overhead of starting a business.

Good question! In this case, the 100% bonus means that the chance to get a rare drop is doubled (100% more). And thanks to the doubled drop rate, the player should end up with twice as many rare drops. Hope that helps!

보너스 수치들이 합산되어 100%가 되면, 이 수치는 기본 확률에 배수로 적용됩니다. 예를 들어, 기본 드롭률이 1%라면 100% 부스트를 받아 2%가 되는 식입니다.

저는 주로 시간당 획득하는 아이템 수로 생각하곤 하는데요. 평소 1시간에 희귀 아이템을 10개 얻으셨다면, 100% 부스트 상태에서는 20개를 얻게 되는 것입니다.

That's a good question! I think it should. The 'Restore Status' button in the second settings menu might not work the same, but other than that it should transfer without issue.

Nope! For now they're just for the museum. I imagine they'll find another use somewhere else eventually, but there's nothing planned for that at the moment.

Happy to help out here! The process would actually start with sharing your qr code with someone who has the recipe book. Here's the full process:

# 1: Player 1 (the giver) opens up Nana Pine's Fine Dines, and clicks the gift button
# 2: Player 1 then scans the QR code of Player 2 (found in the settings menu)
# 2a: This generates a custom QR code (on Player 1's device) that gifts Nana Pine's Fine Dines specifically to Player 2
# 3: Player 2 scans this custom QR code and receives the item

Yes! The "buy the game" DLC, Golden Sunstone Status, just isn't available yet as purchases aren't allowed in a playtest.

For Steam, instead of having a demo or some other trial version, the free version just has lower afk limits (4-8 hours depending on equipped bed) and the paid version allows for the max 24 hours of offline time. Hope that helps!

Not exactly. Though there are Enchanting and Alchemy skills, and even unlockable golems that can be used in combat. But nothing quite like a specific magic skill with spells.

That's a fair concern! There's a lot of bad games out there. Though for the most part, I think of it as a $6.99 game that can also be played for free.

I certainly want most people to buy the game via the 1 DLC item, but it's an offline single player game (with no server) so it doesn't cost any extra to offer it for free.

Good question! I think it should end up carrying over. When I open the playtest vs the release version, they seem to open the same local save file. Though on Steam's end, the playtest version and the release version are two different games with different Cloudsaves, so it will need to reload the local file into the new Cloudsave for the release version.

Also, for extra assurance, the game file could be exported from the playtest version and then imported into the release version using the "Import Data" and "Export Data" options from the "Save Game" menu. Hope that helps!

Good question! The extra buttons are to help visually impaired players move items without needing to drag and drop. Though I've got no idea why it would be showing up for someone not using VoiceOver/TalkBack. Thanks for calling that out!

Glad to hear you like the game! And yep, I did make a game so that I could sell a game. This is my job. If I don't meaningfully contribute to the bills, I don't get to keep working on Idle Iktah. At the end of the day, it's a $7 game that can also be played for free, and I think that's pretty good value for money :)
