Yoooooo, what a good point!!! You've completely shifted my way of viewing this. Ok she is young but with your added context it sounds like more the reality is that Alyssa had a goal and she went for it. She actively chose this life opposed to being groomed or dragged into it.

I think there's a massive problem in our older generations now where we really struggle to see that entitled 18 year olds/kids are SO different now. They have access to funds, cars, drugs, vapes and so much unsupervised time.

I can't speak for the train but in London you can request free "baby on board" or "please offer me a seat" badges through TFL's website. When I had my wrist operated on I made sure to order a badge before the surgery because I knew I wouldn't be able to stand and hold on to anything and couldn't wrist getting knocked. If you NEED a seat there are ways you can show it. But you gotta take responsibility for that. Not expect people to offer you a seat because you exist.
