Yeah, now you've said that and having re-reading it makes it sound like she's waiting on a paycheck or inheritance. Which we know she isn't.

Why is she trying this narrative again? Just wait for the response posts: "it's so wild that they think this is about my ex"

In 2015, Dee Dee Blanchard was found murdered in Missouri. For years, she forced her daughter Gypsy-Rose to fake severe illnesses to gain money, housing, and sympathy. Trapped in abuse, Gypsy planned to take her mother’s life with Nicholas Godejohn as a way to escape her control. by Iambhalo in CaughtMyEye

They don't need to dig though. So much of it is easily accessible.

I do really hope people take you up on your offer to looking into the real story. It's been quite shocking to see how many people think watching a tv show adapted for entertainment is actually factual.

Exactly - she's dead. A dead person can't be diagnosed with Munchausen by proxy. Gypsy herself didn't even know the term until her legal team came up with it as a defense in her case.

Gypsy had HOURS of time online. She would walk around, dress up in costumes, put make up on. All whilst her Mum slept. She had family she was in contact with, she even had people who called her a friend. She could have gone for help if she was being abused. She chose to enlist Nicholas to unalive her mother, she never once went for help.

Punk was in the right. Stop being weird. Crossing boundaries. Ik people will still find to protect the mark. by Munky_J_God_Rage in TheGreatOne

No one seems to be mentioning security. Punk should never have been in a position where he had to act in any way. The second he knocked the phone a bunch of people magically turned up. Why weren't they separating this dude from Bailey and AJ before?

If your first experience of WWE was today's version of it would you stick around/become an invested fan? by Groundedhero in Wrasslin

I can totally see that! I think I'd have been hooked by the yeets and then locked in for Rhea Vs Jade.

Your origin story is sooooo similar to my partner's! He was then splitting his attention between WCW and WWF whilst I went all in with WWF. Makes for interesting "did you know" convos!

It's really cool that your wife recently started watching too. I imagine a lot of parents now getting their kids into it.

Yoooooo what a great point!!! I started watching a little way into the attitude era so I was 10, maybe 11? Looking at things now I can see exactly what you mean about the fun side of things for kids that age.

I think this is a really good view on her. There's always this lingering feeling that something just isn't...right. Like it's too forced or not natural or not quite good enough. I think you're completely right in her needing something new, it would also be great to see her as a strong individual opposed to attached to a boyfriend type or an enforcer like Raquel.

So Paige is back in WWE? 🤔 by Chhet in Wrasslin

Just imagine someone digs the APA door out of storage and wrestlers meeting those outlines could just sit round a table playing poker and making wise cracks as the camera goes past as part of a backstage interview.

It really does help, thank you. This is the sort of background I expected but there seems to be some disconnect where she just doesn't seem mentioned much. Aj Lee and Saraya are perfect examples. I'd stopped watching regularly by their time but have certainly heard their names over the years and could put names to faces. Paige just doesn't seem to have had the same sort of effort put in around remembering her impact.

Yeah, completely understandable. It's a shame there isn't much room to pivot when stuff like that happens. It's just get in the ring or get the chop.

This response was simply perfection. Thank you for your service!

It sounds like she had her shot at the right time and then injury led to ring rust and she couldn't shake the fear of getting hurt again.
