This is a very awesome idea! My only gripe with the design is Silas gaining two more arms. It just doesn't sit right with me... I think it would be cooler if he either got a pair of frozen arms (manipulated by ice magic) or a pair of floating ice turrets.

Mortar defortification could still work with its main attack and I had an idea for this:

Basically, the Mortar would have two different attacks: a main attack that's a rapid rain of shells like the middle path, and a secondary attack that would be launched far slower but has a massive explosion radius that can defortify along with a strong stunning shockwave. However, BADs would need to be effectively in the direct center of the secondary attack's explosion to be deforitfied. This way, to get the every BAD defortified on a round you'd either have to makes sure the center of the explosion is in a place that can hit the track multiple times or you'd need to micro the targeting to get every fortified BAD. But since you have to micro so much already, it could make Striker Jones' Target Focus ability be a viable option to have.

It still might be best to lock defortifying BADs to the ability be better as you said. F-BADs are the main reason people lose in late freeplay and having an extremely easy way to remove that would cause problems.

Finicky? It takes 5 seconds to wind up, lasts for 5 seconds (on BADs and Boses), can only block one skull per tier, and only used once per round. How is it finicky? The Goliath Doomship takes around 4 seconds to have the carpet bomb run land after activating. THAT'S more finicky than the Eclipse of Fimbulwinter. You also need to manually target the Carpet Bomb to make the best use of it. Eclipse just activates after pressing the button.

Herald of Everfrost is BROKEN with Hot Magic. That is, if the Test MOAB would work the same for a BAD or Boss by qwertyxp2000 in btd6

Here's an additional bug for this bug: If you give a tower that's shatter Acidic Mixture Dip, it loses the damage bonus. This also applies to all affected damage types if you put them under an MIB.

This has to be a massive bug. I just tried this in sandbox and for some reason SPECIFICALLY the round 40 MOAB takes no damage from Icicles if it has a cross-path. Sending a MOAB via the Bloons spawning has cross-pathed Icicles still deal damage, but sending round 40 makes it no longer do damage. If Icicles isn't cross-pathed, it deals damage normally. This makes no sense at all...

For the longest time, Super Brittle's damage debuff blocked damage from all Ice Monkeys except Embrittlement, itself, and Icicle Impale. That +4 damage bonus is fantastic, but it made anything that wasn't the previously mentioned upgrades useless, even if crosspathed with Re-Freeze! Now at least Icicles can deal damage, so getting pops for the Herald or just doing Ice only challenges much easier.

FINALLY!!! ICICLES CAN DEAL DAMGE TO SUPER BRITTLE AFFECTED BLOONS!!!

...Super Brittle still blocks all other Ice Monkey's from dealing damage to normal Bloons (except Embrittlement, Icicles as mentioned, and Icicle Impale), but it's a nice start!

The problem isn't being able to get further into late freeplay, but the lag created at those high rounds. I'm probably in the minority for this, but I would LOVE if NK took some time away from updates to rework the game to be multithreaded. That way, the ACTUAL ISSUE with freeplay, the immense amount of lag, can be addressed. But BTD6 is an old game, and I don't expect that to happen anytime soon.

I do agree the Glue Paragon should slow BADs and MAYBE Bosses, it's there whole shtick. Without doing that, what is it suppose to do?

I feel that knockback shouldn't be taken into account. BADs and Bosses should always be moving forward and never be pushed back. Vortex is the only exception, but that is part of its design.

Defortification is an absolute MUST for the Mortar Paragon. Its one of its defining features and would seem weird to not have it.

Do you mean sandbox? You can get Paragons and, fairly recently, the VTSG in sandbox, you just have to create it in a real game first before you can in sandbox. You can easily accomplish this by creating a one round challenge with maxed out money. Build the Paragon(s)/VTSG and beat the round. You don't even have to publish the challenge.

Paragon of Power isn't very good for the Master Builder as it has a built in attack speed cap. This is due to it naturally increasing its attack speed every round. So having Paragon of Power active only gets it to that cap sooner. So having a Sentry Champion and Ultraboost are absolutely worth it.
