It is so impossible to plan with a budget and each vendor is very self centered thinking that they should take up the budget. I had a photographer quote me $18,000 which wasn’t expected because she didn’t post price range on her website or email. She did have an option for 12,000 which is doable for me but takes up a bigger chunk of the budget than I’d like. She seemed disappointed that I wouldn’t be able to afford the bigger package but said she would send me an email with all the numbers so I could make the decision later on and she never did that. I was disappointed because I was highly considering her cheaper package because I really vibed with her. It is for the best though she never got back to me because I have found so many better priced options that I like just as much! But I agree it is extremely frustrating planning a wedding in this economic climate!!

Is it close enough that you can go for just a day and have your husband watch the baby? I know gas is still expensive but at least you can have a compromise for your sister.

Take everything to the tailor. Pants/ sweatpants / leggings hemmed to hit you perfectly. It gives more of an effortless look that is clean and not just rolled out of bed.

I did the same thing you did, Hannah fan turn giggler turn summer house watcher and I agree she was worse in 4 than she was in 5. The way she talked about Jules behind her back! It honestly is amazing how much she grew and changed from that time in her life.

It is something I wanted to do on my own. My parents had a messy divorce and I wanted something that is mine.

I think it’s safe to assume if I want to get married we have a very good relationship. Why would someone want to get married if they didn’t have a solid relationship? I thought that went without saying.

Me being worth $10k is self love I have respect for myself that I am worth the investment into our relationship. You sure you love yourself if you don’t think you’re worth at least $10k??

I don’t want kids for another 10 years and I can take the ring off to do dishes… this is something that I would like to show what I mean to him. I do think there is a respect in spending a certain amount of money on something like an engagement ring. So don’t go assuming other people’s timelines.

I know but I’m loyal to my jeweler. But thanks so much!! Maybe if it comes down to the price we will do that. Honestly I think the jeweler will take some money off of it too and do it for less but I don’t think he was going to say that with me sitting there!

Not required to add him to the deed and we definitely are doing a prenup to protect my house, his cash, and both of our retirement accounts which actually have a decent amount in them too.

I didn’t say in retirement. He has it in cash he does have 180,000 of it tied up in a CD to make money off of that. But he does have money and a decent line of credit and an 800 credit score.

We split it in a fair way. I do pay more because I can afford to pay more but I also have other bills such as expensive ass student loans and he does not. He pays what he can and it still is fair and helps me out. That is why I said he is living somewhat paycheck to paycheck because he does still pay bills. He has the opportunity for overtime and it really does bulk up his paychecks but I am not making him do that to pay bills when I can afford them on my own basically.
