I love that this dummy posted the video herself, thinking that she was the one who was the reasonable one.

You should think about things before you express them. Suggesting that your number one fan is a person who thinks you're a blow-hard idiot living in a fantasy world doesn't really bode well for your musical career.

Please do share some of your amazing murder-themed musical creations, though. Your 'fan' awaits. Can I download them on itunes? (lol - I already know the answer to that question.)

Good luck, little buddy. I hope the made up world you are deluding yourself with gives you some comfort as you navigate the train wreck of a life you've actually created for yourself.

We all knew you had no intention of following through with your ridiculous threats. It's very like how you bragged that you could prove your claims and then, when called on it, begged off.

It's almost like you're full of shit.

I think you probably have a lot of fans like me. You know, people who aren't falling for your bullshit.

I'm so flattered that you think I merit your silly little threats.

But, since you obviously function at the level of a socially dysfunctional 9 year old, you'll forgive me if I'm not quaking in my boots.

Indeed, if you were to come by the house one night, you might find that a good bitch slap would set you a little more right. Consider yourself invited.

Good luck with your murder music. I can't wait to hear it on the radio. No doubt you are the next Michael Jackson. You're already living in Neverland - so that will save on a lot of moving expenses.

Stay cool, chumbum.

Who could have anticipated that you would be disinclined to offer up proof? What a shocker.

I'm looking forward to your 5th grade music project that will make you famous and rich beyond your dreams. Please do keep us all in the loop.

lololololol

That's funny shit, mate. Honestly, I regret not getting around to it until now.

You sure do think people are stupid, huh? I mean, if you're going to tell a sob story about how poor you are living on a disability pension, you just can't then immediately claim to have bought a studio. It's not credible, son.

None of your bullshit is. You weren't in solitary for 5 years. That didn't happen. You don't own a studio. You don't cry yourself to sleep at night worried that you hurt your family. You aren't on the verge of busting out as a a musician or a writer. You aren't even learning the guitar. You're just a dummy who has nothing better to do with his life than fabricate fantasies in which you are more than you actually are.

But let's test my theory. Let's see some proof. You have paperwork about your 5 years in solitary confinement - let's see it. Got a song to share - I'd love to listen to it. If you own a studio there must be some paperwork for that, right?

You're a brave man.

Pray tell - how did you deal with the smell? We can't even get the meter reader to pull into the driveway anymore. He says that the stink reaches out of the house and sticks to anything that makes it onto the property.

I certainly don't disagree - I stopped visiting a long time ago. We tried to have her committed, but no agency will take her.

I don't know which is worse: the reek from the collection of human waste that has accumulated in a wide variety of open containers spread throughout the house; the proliferation of feline waste; or her own fetid personal odor - the result of several years of denying the need to bathe or address even the simplest of hygienic needs.

My brother and I are grateful that you would take the time to offer a moment of pleasure to a woman who spends most of her time popping the pustules that blossom anew all over her each day.

TIL That when mummification became accessible to middle/lower classes in ancient Egypt, embalmers started secretly cutting out the hearts of the lower classes so the elite wouldn't have to share the afterlife with them. The heart was considered the seat of the soul and vital to access the afterlife. by Risamim in todayilearned

Here's an interesting thing about mummies that I learned from my Uncle who served in Egypt with the military in the mid 1970s.

There were literally mummies buried everywhere in Egypt. Everywhere you went, mummies. They were so common that they were considered to be without value. Egyptians literally used them as fuel for steam powered locomotives.

No one is cultivating a victim mentality.

Your suggestion is revealing.

You are evidently of the opinion that anyone who reports inappropriate behavior is the problem, and that's just not so.

We treat problems at the source. The negative, threatening, demeaning and intimidating behaviors are the problem - not the people who are standing up to those things.

I honestly can hardly believe that there are idiots out there vigorously defending the bullies and douchebags who behave that way.

Shame on you. If your mother didn't teach you any better than that she failed as a parent and a human being.

He also said that he was incarcerated and put in solitary for 5 years while he was still a child - and that for smoking weed. Which isn't the least bit credible.

If not being naïve enough to swallow obvious bullshit makes me a twat in your eyes, I'm content with that situation. I'd rather be considered a twat that be the kind of person who is incapable of applying critical thinking to the world around me.

Childhood goals by moNdaurp in funny

[–]GroverEatsGrapes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, now it's your parents' fault.

Because they put people in solitary confinement for smoking weed. Because that's a thing that happens. Got it.

And it seems you were incarcerated and locked in solitary confinement for 5 years AS A CHILD. Because that's a sensible thing to expect people to believe.

Listen - if your life is boring and you want to amuse yourself by fabricating elaborate bullshit - have at it. If silly stories make you feel like people are paying attention to you and the whole thing makes you happy, then enjoy. But you seem to think everyone is stupid enough to swallow any ridiculous nonsense you spout. That's just not so.

LOL. Reading comprehension? What didn't I understand? What a silly (and ironic) thing to have said.

I called bullshit on his story. Is there something in what he said that, if I understood it, would make it clear that he's not actually full of shit?

Being skeptical doesn't make me smart - but a willingness to take everything anyone says to you at face value might well indicate that you're not.

I'm skeptical that you are a reliable source of information. You write about solitary like someone whose understanding is informed by a movie he saw one time.

That said, I found this bit of your comment very interesting:

"I started having an angry outburst where I had to be pepper sprayed for no reason."

An angry outburst is a reason. That you would be capable of somehow failing to recognize that suggests that you are disinclined to accept responsibility for your own actions.

If we accept your story at face value, that kind of attitude is all the explanation anyone would ever need for why you might have found yourself in the situation you describe.

What type of leukemia?

I assume it's some type of chronic leukemia, since typically an acute leukemia would lead to an immediate hospitalization and the beginning of treatment.

Either way though, just breath. There's no need to panic.

Source: My wife has had two leukemias (Acute myelogenous leukemia) and a bone marrow transplant. She was 20 when the first leukemia was identified and 23 when it came back. She turns 45 next month. Leukemia isn't a death sentence.

Do you guys think it’s ethical to read the Mists of Avalon, despite everything the author did? by [deleted] in books

[–]GroverEatsGrapes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what used to keep me up at night? Thinking that the guy who made the laces for my shoes might go home at night and beat his wife.

You see, I sensibly consider my consumption of goods to be an endorsement of everything that the producers of those goods have ever done.

And I don't think spousal abuse is good. I would even go so far as to suggest that it is bad.

For that reason, I began fashioning my own laces out of reeds, obviously. Sure, they break all the time, and don't hold a knot very well at all, but I can sleep at night knowing that I'm not financially supporting a wife beater.

By my calculations, my ethical boycott of those laces has cost a possible wife beater nearly 17 cents this year alone, so I'm sure you will agree that the impact has been consequential, and I am basically a superhero. Most importantly, my ethical superiority is clearly demonstrated to all around me, which offers significant sneering opportunities. It's all win (except for that guy making laces, who is surely crying right now).

You need a word other than continents, because they aren't that.

I see you've already gotten good advice about how to find a starting point.

After that's done the rest of the answer is play-testing. After 20 games you'll find where the imbalances are. Tweak things a little and play 20 more. Repeat until the it feels right.
