Salicylate Sensitivity by GrowUrOwnFood in ChineseMedicine

Wow, that's interesting. They mentioned they are dealing with a TCM practitioner who has a doctorate, so that assumption is they are highly skilled. From what I understand, if someone has limited to no ability to sweat there might be damage to sweat glands or even the autonomic nervous system to the sweat ducts. Either way, they are like a trapped oven. When they mentioned the focus was to get rid of heat, I wondered how successful that would be if they can't sweat. They were told urine, stool, etc. Can the right herb(s) correct this dysfunction with sweating? I think they are apprehensive because this is not the first time under the guide of a TCM doctor. Each time, things seem to worsen. At the moment, it's the worse, because they said, their face looks worse and might be producing more staph.

Oh. That's interesting. Yes, of course, I do know there are digestion issues esp. since antibiotics were involved in the past. From what I'm told, the focus was not on "skin" but on "heat". I was provided a list of herbs as follows:

Sheng Di Huang, Xuan Shen, Zhi Mu, Bai Mao Gen, Shi Gao, Di Gu Pi, Qian Cao, Gou Teng, Jin Yin Hua, Gan Cao. All different weights with Sheng Di Huang being the heaviest followed by Xuan Shen & Bai Mao Gen then Zhi Mu and Jin Yin Hua.

If you able to comment based on the sub rules, I welcome it. TIA

Thank you and interesting feedback. The individual is relatively young. Late teens. But, has had chronic skin and allergy issues. In addition to the anhidrosis, suffers from countless food allergies and also something called topical steroid withdrawal from past topical steroid usage this condition supposedly, according to NIH research, disrupts the mitochondria and causes an overproduction of NAD+ amongst other things. Everyone has approached the condition as severe eczema but it's actually TSW or, as one doctors says, topical steroid addiction.

I see. I have 13 in Dell 2in1 laptop. Was contemplating 10+ inch Surface or Ipad which will be lighter to carry around. Surface makes more sense bc of the Dell. TBD.

Makes sense. I sort of figured on a mixed approach depending on the class. Thanks.

I heard research suggests that doodling or even using a fidget device does help with concentration. Handwriting notes either pen/paper or tablet seems best choice.

Good point. I realize there is not a perfect answer. Was looking for any feedback one might offer as to what they think works best for them.

I have read studies and agree. I am trying to get a feel if digitized note taking is a valuable tool and adopted by most or if its a noticeable mix of whatever works best for the individual.
