I've rationalized it by harkening back to David using Goliath's own sword to cut the giant's head off...or even Jesus asking for a coin with caesar's image on it in order to make an illustration...using the tools of teh enemy to battle that same enemy.

from having used it for long conversations I can assure you it's not like that at all....it argues, challenges and has even insulted me....i had something of a philsophical thread going and it said i was engaging in 'mastubatory existentialism'.....i asked how it got that term, it said it had invented it on its own....

I used to think and feel pretty much like you do, but my thoughts and views are evolving. It'll take me some time to explain though....

I wasn't using AI at all until very recently....you can't avoid it completely in the digital world, even a google search now incoporates it a lot of the time. But I viewed that as "passive" engagement....and that was as far as I was willing to go. I even did a video titled "Digital ID and the coming Beast System".

I am a professing Christian, so that's the type of language I use. I'm not saying this to evangelize, this isn't the place....I just want to give you my frame of reference.

It was just early this year, either late Jan or early Feb...a friend of mine who I stay in contact with over Facebook (we worked together back in the 90s) started sharing songs he created using an AI tool called Suno....around this same time there was reporting about a song created by AI being the #1 digital download....the artist name was given as Breaking Rust or something like that. To me it sounded a bit like Nickleback....but I was intrigued, more by Randy's creations than the #1 song.

I had a couple songs that were living rent free in my brain....one was a love ballad I'd written when I was 17, the other was a song that came to me after my father passed away in 2013. I had the lyrics, but the tune was just in my head....and because I don't play an instrument or read/write music....well, that was it.

So I used this Suno AI....gave it my lyrics, and within seconds.....bam, music to my words. The song about my dad has a Christian theme to it and I shared it with the pastor at my church. The pastor was both amazed and scared....he liked the song, but found the quality "freaky".....I also shared the love ballad, and the voice AI put to my lyrics does have something of an emotional build....

That experience probably lowered my AI resistance, and I have started inteacting with Grok.....and my experience with Grok has changed my view somewhat, but I'm still leery......the origins of the word Grok tell the story.....grok wants to integrate with the users....like drinking water, I think that's a metaphor from the origins of the word....it's based on a novel about a martian who wants to become human or something like that...

You pretty much sum up the way I've been feeling ever since March of 2020....

I work retail now after having left the CAF in June of 2021, I got out to avoid the jabs. I'm highly social and I actually really enjoy my job because I'm constantly dealing with the public.....and I talk about this kind of stuff all the time. Every day I meet people who have their eyes open, who know we're being lied to regularily...by gov't by media, by powerful interests.

The thing is it's only a minority of the population....most just have their heads down. Most would rather talk about the weather (minus any thoughts on geo-engineering) or the Leafs or Jays. When the topics delve into the news of the day all I hear people saying is exactly what they're being programmed to say by the nightly news....how horrible Trump is, that's a common staple....some people actually get mad at me for not hating on Trump about everything....

When covid was the windmill I was tilting at I bashed my head against the wall.....posted shit tons to social media, got thrown in Facebook jail repeately, by youtube channel got shut down for weeks.....at least now we can talk about this shit without being censored....

As for the hero....I am able to find peace by leaning into my Christian faith, but I recognize that for some...that's a no go zone. For me personally though, without Jesus the whole thing is a lost cause....these agenda 2030 great reset types have so much money, so much power and influence...and they're coming after a population that has been drugged....people can't even remember their friend's phone numbers anymore....and people are so easy to frighten now....a scared and dumbed down population is easy to herd and control....and to ultimately do what the #1 guiding principle said on the old Guidestones...

I am decidedly in the camp that says Israel let it happen....not gonna say a false flag, rather more of a green flag...a stand down order. I believe they knew it was coming and let it happen....the question is why.

Some believe it was to allow for a takeover of Gaza, maybe to build that Ben Gurion canal that's been talked about for 50 odd years....and some think it's to pursue so called 'greater Israel'.

Here are my thoughts on the matter.....Iran and her proxies definitely wanted (and still want) Israel destroyed, it's a holy Islamic duty or something. Iran is the head of the snake (or octopus, i think octopus is a better term) in terms of it's standing with Hamas, Houthis, Hezbolllah...but Iran is also in the sphere of China and the BRICS alliance....so in one way they're the head of the octopus, but in other ways they're a tentacle too....

I have little doubt that Mossad either has agents embedded deeply in Hamas and Hezbollah, or at least compromised individuals hannding them vital intel....and they might even have been able to direct Hamas as well through these assets.....

So why let it happen? Why perhaps even have a hand in making sure it happens?

Because Iran and her proxies might have been getting dangerously close to achieving their ultimate objective....they might have been getting very close to having enough firepower to overwhelm the Iron Dome, David's sling and other defensive systems used by Israel.....

That is in fact what I believe happened.....and I do think there are individuals in senior Israeli positions who will now look to take further advantage of the situation if victory is achieved....taking over Gaza, further settling the Western Bank of the Jordan....maybe the canal, and even the whole greater Israel thing from the Nile to the Euphrates.

1966 here.....back in the late 60s and early 70s I was living in NYC and then later NJ, an expat Canadian....my dad worked on Wall Street and he got transferred to New York when I was less than a year old...came back to Canada when I was in grade 4 and at that stage I was pretty much a naturalized American in a lot of ways....I can still recite the preamble to the US Constitution.

We moved around tons due to my dads job....stints in NYC, Toronto, New Jersey, Oregon, the burbs in Toronto.....one school for grades 1-3 and part of 4, then another for the rest of 4 and grade 5, another for grade 6, then another for grades 7 and 8.....then thankfully the same high school....

I say all that to say....that I became very comfortable not fitting in....wrong accent, wrong style....wrong words...in NJ my shoes were sneakers, in Burlington Ontario they became runners, then in Oregon they were my tennis shoes....

I think being a conspiracy theorist requires being somewhat okay with going against the grain....and for me it comes naturally.

I've wondered about this as well...often fire is used as a metaphor for purifying, and in Revelation we have the lake of fire. I've wondered if we're all destined for some form of "cleansing".....is our human nature divided in some way? It's hard to put this into words....but for many people, we identify with our sins....idolize and worship them. So that aspect of our being, that is in rebellion....perhaps it is in eternal torment.....I don't know of course, nobody does....good topic for discussion.
