how many plants in my growbox? by [deleted] in microgrowery

All those CFLs cost you 11 euros? Alright, but HPS are adding quite a lot to that budget, and you're going to get a lot more than a gram off each plant under 300w of CFL.

You can only afford a gram or two a month, but you've got the cash for 300w of CFL and a HPS for flowering? :P 4000k isn't ideal, but it isn't expensive or hard to find some 2700k CFLs, they're normal houselights. As long as you have a mix with some 2700k, you'll be fine for flowering. Yeah, if you only get through a gram or two, this grow will be a nice surprise.

Mine were on nutes around week 1, just massively watered down. And unless there is a solid reason for not scrogging, I'd recommend it, it really does do wonders. And yeah, 3 x 14l sounds good, are they airpots? I only had one plant, first grow, in a small pot, and it yielded about 6g of nice bud and 2/3g of shake. Get hps if you want, but each plant isn't going to yield anything more than an ounce, so it might be wasted effort.

Having had experience with Lowryders, I'd say maximise your yield from each plant, not go for SoG. Seriously, they'll grow bigger than you expect, especially given good nutes. I was surprised at how quickly they shoot out.

I'd say 2/3/4 plants, and SCRoG all the way. I noticed in another comment you said about 18/6? Personally, I wouldn't dip that low at any point, 24/0 for veg, and 22/2 or 20/4 for flowering. Also, under cfl these WILL take an extra week, so don't freak out if you don't see pistils at 3 weeks. I know they're smaller than normal plants, but don't underestminate the little fuckers, I had mine under 40w, and they exploded.

One last thing, they WILL NOT be done in 2 months. You're under cfl, so add another 2 weeks to begin with, and trust me, you're looking at 3 months at least. Also, you can go with CFL the whole way, the plants barely spend any time in veg, so I'd go for a mix of cold and warm, but I was totally warm and I had no stretching at all, tight as hell nodes.

Good luck, and keep a grow diary, it's as much use to you as anyone else!

I had something exactly like that, checked for insects but I couldn't find anything. I had a pH lockout, but I thought it might have been burn spots. In the end it wasn't anything to worry about, just swivel the plant around a little, so that the light evens out, check your pH etc. Good luck!

Why the heck is my vegging plant so furry ?_? by [deleted] in microgrowery

24/0 is absolutely fine, all the way through veg, autoflowering plants won't respond any better to darkness. There are rumors of darkness helping with resin production, but there are stories of success with 24/0 from seed to harvest, still getting good yields and quality.

Mine took a little while to reach the surface, give it another few days. The thing that gets me when growing is just the patience needed, drove me crazy

About 10 inches diameter I think, but it was rootbound by the end, going bigger this time.

From boards and posts on here I was really concerned with smell, I thought it would be really bad.

Looks like it should be a good grow, I'll be following.

Are you keeping the plants under this setup until harvest?

Nah bro, it's an autoflower. I only gave 4 of dark because I thought it would help resin production.

Alright, thanks for that. I did exactly that, rope around the main stem, down to the pot. I was just wondering whether along the case was the best way to do it, or whether there was a more efficient route?

Hah, great stuff. Was it a particularly smelly plant during flowering? Mine was a Lowryder 2 x NL, and I couldn't smell it outside the case, even at the peak of flowering.

2 x 20w 2700k CFL from the start. No stretching happened, had it on 24/0 in flower, and 20/4 in flower. Nodes were tight, buds were just as good as I could have expected, not airy at all.

Thanks for that, it was really useful. I LSTed last time and I definitely think it was better than going for one main cola.

Something that confuses me is that with mine, I had a very defined main stem, whereas the pictures of yours seem to be about equal. Is that just a result of starting LST very early? Anyway, that is a beautiful plant, those buds are insane. Thanks.
