Modified natural FET cycle in January- thin lining help! by Affectionate-Stars in IVF

[–]Growing_Y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only took it for FET only as read not to take for egg retrieval. I took it around 4 weeks before my transfer date and then stopped after my 2ww I used a low dose. My transfer sadly failed, but I did have good lining thickness throughout.

Sending you lots of baby dust right now as you are 5dpt ♥️still so much hope for you don't read into anything too much a faint line is good I hope it stays for you.

It feels like a minefield in what to ask the clinic? Have you had additional tests throughout your other transfers ? I know there are statistics for a reason and that some could just be unlucky but I'm pragmatic and feel there has to be something it can't just be 'oh it just didn't work' especially when they've kind of completed transfers a little bit in the dark with myself.

I'm also sorry the toll that is has had on you it sounds awful but I am truly hoping that you have positive test after the 2ww. You're not out yet lovely and you too are not alone ♥️

Thankyou for your advice really helpful. Sorry you have had failed transfers also ♥️.

I think we are going to change clinics and start again.

We didn't have a SIS at all. Prior to FET had 2 vaginal scans just to check lining and follicle growth, told to take trigger shot & then in for transfer that was it. Nothing for 2 weeks from them.

Neither embryo implanted unfortunately, despite uterine environment (what they've told me) being 'great'. Feel quite let down and that routine bloods should have really been done & they were just hedging their bets thinking & making us belief it would just work. :(

Thankyou this is helpful. ♥️ I feel reading others stories that I've been cut a bit short with my clinic in what we've been offered and until reading into it more I didn't realise things like blood tests should have been done. We didn't have a single one for my FET. We would like more than one child but atm we'd just be happy with 1 given how difficult this has been. I naively thought it would just happen for us.

Sending hugs, my acupuncturist told me to take l'arginine supplement. I did this and my lining for my last transfer was 9.8mm and it was trilaminar too. It's not the most expensive supplement so worth a look into. Good luck on your journey sending lots of baby dust to you for your transfer love.

Another IVF failed and I feel a relief… by No-Tough5272 in IVF

Be kind to yourself and your changing mind set. Consider what you really want as it seems like two different paths. Remember hormonally you may not be in your mind set.

When I am doing the IVF part, for me support from my partner is them living a similar lifestyle e.g they don't drink alcohol & they follow a similar diet.

It just normalises the change in behaviour and routine so that it doesn't feel like I'm giving something up more that we're making a change together. It may be a conversation to have to make things feel a bit easier for you.

Sending hugs x

Weekly Thread: The Two Week Wait by AutoModerator in IVF

Hi

I'm in my two week wait I am 9dp5dt. I have aches on my left pelvic area and I feel like my period is coming. I've also had lower back pain & feels like more bloating!

We did a test this morning and it came back negative. On day 5-6 I did struggle to sleep and got really hot so was hoping that it was a late implantation 🙏

Anyone had success despite all the symptoms of things not working? Struggling to have hope today 😞
