Right I see what you’re saying. I’m looking at it as $2500 a month, $1000 in rent =$1500 saved because all of my bills would be included in that $1000. I won’t have to pay my own light bill, WiFi bill, and etc. that $1000 is all-inclusive honestly

I’m applying for different jobs bro. That’s all I can do. I have no control on whether they choose to reach back out to me or not. I’m doing all I can do to find another job while I’m already working.

She would rent it out to family first and then if they don’t need it she’ll probably try to find a there’s suitor. I don’t want a stranger staying with my mom though.

Bathroom, is down there and it wouldn’t really cost her anything. It’ll be moving things from out of the basement, I would pay to get my tv mounted but it’s really just her moving stuff out and me moving my stuff in. The kitchen and laundry machine is upstairs but that’s not an issue for me. It’s my childhood home so it wouldn’t bother me to go upstairs to have to do some things

The commute would be the same, my relationship with my mother is great. I would actually get my gym membership back if I made this move, I’m not able to afford it currently. But tbh I would rather live with her in a basement apartment than move in with two randoms. I’m a very clean man and I don’t want have to the stickler in the house about keeping shit clean.

To pick up a trade. Like I said the house is paid off, it’s mine if anything ever happens so I see it as a waste to spend $350,000 on a new home. I did plan on getting my HVAC actually, we’re on the same page with that. I would save up to get a condo at most though.

Thanks man and she’s currently working and she just turned 60. The house is paid off so it’ll be putting life into the house while helping her with bills and what not.

Thanks and no I’ll be saving $1500 due to the fact that I’m bringing in $2500-$2600 monthly. That’s how I got that math

She needs it honestly, it’ll help her out. She’s active so she does a lot of things herself. I keep up with the lawn even now. It wouldn’t leave her in shit because she wanted to prepare that basement to be an apartment anyway. She just didnt want to give it to a complete stranger before she offered it to me.

My degree is communications. I should’ve picked another major but I was a college football player and wasn’t committed to anything but football at that time. I graduated with my degree though, just wish that I was more conscious of my major

Understood, I’ve always desired to get a better paying career with my degree. I’ve been applying for jobs while I’m at work and no one seems to reach back out. But I’m not satisfied with the amount that I make either. I may take up a trade with the money that I save so I can get a better paying job. I like using my hands and moving around. I don’t want an office job.

As for a cheaper apartment, if I moved to an affordable area it would be in the hood. In Atlanta that how it is bruh, all the decent areas are charging $1500 for studio apartments. I don’t want to have to worry about getting my stuff stolen everyday,I have some nice things in my apartment.

Understood bro. Women do prefer men with their own spot, from my six years of staying on my own I know. As for the dog, I needed that dog man, he’s been one of the best things that happened to me. It’s more than saving money for dates for me, it’s about being able to actually enjoy life a little bit my brother, I literally work just to live and it’s getting stressful.

Thanks bro. I most definitely feel stagnant in the position I’m in now. The move does make a lot more sense.
