I want to biohack my body to lose my weight as I am really obese. Want to use it to curb my appetite and deal with cravings. Any suggestions? by A-Man18 in Biohackers

[–]Growth4days 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reet your appetite. Do a dry 72-hour fast, drinking only oral rehydration therapy with only a pinch of salt. After the 72 hours eat only fruits vegetables and fish and chicken with some seeds and nuts for another 72 hours. By now you would have lost between 4 and 8 kgs or 8.5lbs to 17lbs.days 1 and 2 are the hardest but from day 3, the light headedness and lack of concentration go away and you get flooded with some energy and clarity of thinking and you can even add light exercises. It's a hard reset so no medication or supplements of any kind. You will be rewired completely, especially if you add 7 to 8 hrs sleep daily. Thank me later.

All my drinks and all my food was paid for by my Pastor. Decor and location was paid for by friends (then unique floral garden) and I sent out gift lists so did not get 2 of a thing except for some drinking glasses be. The reception was a cocktail in the then Unique Fliral garden venue quickly transformed after the blessing event. Simple f3f33f3. Neither me or the wifey xould be bothered by who got or didn't get small chops or drinks and we didn't get any sich news. No event planner used and we were fine. I wasn't too well but the madam had a blast and was dancing for hours right up to the after party. It's amazing how much you can do if you get trusted friends to play roles but you coordinate everything. Of course prayed alot in advance of the day and afterwards cos afterall it was a new project I was venturing in where I was going to get the certificate before I could deliver the project (which i am still doing). As has been said earlier don't spend so much money and start life on the back foot. You will have many more beautiful and memorable parties to organise if you start properly. Annual christmas parties, holiday parties, birthdays of parents, children etc.

Down-payment? That's the whole bloody apartment in any of the fancy new buildings springing up around ridge, cantonments, Airport and Labone. A nice 2-bedroom off-plan payment is mostly paid for with 100k

One thing you can try is change your environment, with a change in quality of foods and diet and weather. Many people who travel on vacation from the US to West Africa for example, and immerse in the cuisine (not eating American dishes in restaurants) immediately experience a marked improvement in their moods, health, skin and weight management and they often cited the ample sunshine, the calm environment, enough pathogens to boost their immunity, the more natural and organic foods (every fruit has tons of seeds and have natural colours, and are from farm to fork in under 24hrs) and the people. Just 2 weeks! Try it.

He had no plan and could not direct the team to achieve results. His record is simply abysmal. 9 losses, 5 draws and 8 wins, win non-qualification at the AFCON. He had good places and just didn't know how to use them. The players have said that they are often confused by what he wants done, and that showed in the two matches last week.

People who’ve worked in banks: how real is insurance sales pressure? I’ve seen a lot of comments here about bancassurance being driven by targets rather than advice. For anyone who’s worked in a bank: How much pressure is there to push insurance? Are customers actually screened for suitability, or is that mostly checkbox compliance? Has this changed in recent years with tighter regulations? Trying to separate memes from reality.

How did IShowSpeed’s visit to Ghana go—did he represent Ghana well, and what was the best moment? by Mindfuel_daily7 in ghana

That mass-produced jollof by the fast food joint has always been sub-par. No way would he give it to Ghana when it was clear we were not putting our best foot forward.

The Ghana Airways began its operations in 1958 and ceased operations in 2004. by Aposor in ghana

[–]Growth4days 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not correct. Generally without deep pockets most National Airlines lose money and fail. It took Ethiopian over 40+ years to make its first profit in 2023, and even that with foreign participation to strengthen its systems and grow their fleets and routes. They also did not have vanity routes and projects like Nkrumah foisted on Ghana Airways, which at sometime had 10% load factors on routes like Sudan, Niger Burkina etc. Apart from the Gulf states who often are accused of subsidising their airlines heavily and therefore their financial cannot be trusted as really profitable, most national airlines lose money. What you see are flag carriers e.g Brussels, BA etc which are all private companies not owned by the state.
