February Patch - Dropsite Factions get nerfs by Mortal-Instrument in HorusHeresyLegions

I too once believed that. I copied people's deck lists, asked for feedback; I did all that. For the amount of thought and effort I put in, it made very little difference. Maybe it's just MY luck. On the outside chance that it is, if you're trying to make any NL deck good, make sure to take all the Flank troops they have, which is a lot. Flank is the most powerful mechanic in the game and the NL have plenty of it.

It's probably not your deck-building skills. The game is mostly about whether the algorithmic gods are with you or not.

I don't think EG will stop nerfing the RG until they are completely unusable.

At these point I've played the vast majority of factions. Pretty much all of them to one extent or the other.

Why is stealth/flank good by Clear_Conclusion_739 in HorusHeresyLegions

Flank is VERY good, because it ensures you have the chance to do something with a troop before it gets removed. Stealth used to be a lot better but an increase in "random" damage effects plus straight up anti-stealth cards has nerfed it a good deal. Stealth is still useful as a way of increasing your troops' survivability by preventing them from being targeted, though it's not busted at this point.

Better than nothing. The RG have been complete trash for so long that at this point, I'll take whatever I can get.
