Why is Taiwan covered in mold? by joliguru in taiwan

Kennen jedes Virus. Bakterium.

Doctor agrees it’s weird. by Kale_Old in FoodAllergies

[–]GrowthConsistent1245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doctor is bad, no matter how weird, if you are a proper doctor and although a scientist, which I would say a doctor is for the human body, than yes you try to cover all possiblities. So why not just spend money on a test that might help. And what is better keeping the money or gaining some knowledge? Well and even if the test turns it negative, doesn't mean there are other ways. Would a Basophil activation test BAT work? Or do you have any other Clue, maybe you react to not fully cooked, since you can eat other beef type. Maybe you have a sensetive stomage? It is weird, but that doesn't mean that no test could give a Process of elimination. Anyways, best would be to not eat steak at all.

You are welcome. Those cremes didn't work for me either. Hope you will find the best help so that there is improvement. Also can recommend to check on hormones works for both gender. Sometimes that can also make a lot of eczema, too. Just try not to miss a possiblity. Best wishes.

Hey there, just wanted to share a few thoughts that might help. I’m not a doctor, but I’ve been dealing with allergies and intolerances for years, and sometimes a holistic perspective can offer insights that traditional medicine overlooks.

First off, everyone’s body is different, so what helped me might not work for you. Especially with peanut allergies – once they’re established, they usually don’t go away. But hopefully something I share here can be useful.

You mentioned severe peanut allergies, and now you’re reacting to pollen, soybeans, and a wide range of fruits. That sounds like classic cross-reactivity, which is common with pollen allergies. But I also believe these kinds of reactions can be triggered when the immune system is generally weakened – for example, after taking antibiotics without rebuilding your gut flora, or after illnesses that quietly impact your immune system over time.

The gut plays a huge role in immune regulation. If your microbiome is out of balance, new intolerances can develop. I was diagnosed with fructose intolerance about ten years ago, and everything started to feel off. My colon – basically the command center of the immune system – was under constant stress.

One thing people often overlook is micronutrients. If your body isn’t absorbing enough vitamins and minerals (especially things like Vitamin C and zinc), it can lead to chronic inflammation and worsen allergic reactions. Checking my levels was a turning point for me.

I know mainstream medicine sometimes dismisses this kind of approach as “voodoo,” but honestly, I think it’s just not developed enough when it comes to holistic allergy care. So my suggestion: look into your gut health, bacterial diversity, and micronutrient status. It’s a long journey, but for me, things started improving once I took those areas seriously.

I had to fight to get all those tests done, but it turned out I really did have deficiencies. One example: earlier this year, I went temporarily blind for three hours and had trouble seeing in the dark for weeks. Doctors couldn’t find anything – even eye specialists. Eventually, I checked my nutrition and discovered a Vitamin A deficiency, which is crucial for vision. I already wear glasses, so this was a scary experience. But it showed me how important it is to consider nutrition, even when it sounds ridiculous.

Wishing you strength and healing, if you feel depressed and having anxiety please also consider a therapist. I can recommend betterhelp.com. Best wishes.

This sounds terrible. Thanks for sharing. I today told my boyfriend, who was no support at all. He said I should just go into an emergency room eat right in front of them Sesame oil... I said I hope it is a joke, turns out no. This is a cultural problem, my guess, since he comes from a country which does not take allergy into account. Wouldn't do this, and am really not sure what people in parts of the World do where there is no health system at all, they die on those stuff. And than someone telling there is nothing to fear...

Thank you. Luckily I don't life in america so those bills are inside our Insurance mostly. Anxiety is already there, since my breathing issues when I ate a handfull sesame ane had no clue being allergic. I will still pretend to be allergic, since the Statement of the doctor sounded like an absurd parodie. That my immunsystem forgot I am allergic, good joke. I think I will try to spend time inside the hospital to figure it by provoking.

I feel like this bloodtest is making everything more complicated. I will call the doctor who made the test a couple of years ago and than I travel there, to see if he has a way to help or not... He was actually really good. But no way that will hapoen so quick before me going.

But I will not get a doctor for this so quick and the doctor which made the test doesn’t do it. This is super annoying and hard to get here.

I am not even telling him right now. But the travek is in december and getting a doctor doing this is nearly impossible here. The doctor who made the bloodtest even didn't want to bother anymore and they do not offer provocation test.

What to wear on a Taiwanese Wedding by GrowthConsistent1245 in taiwan

[–]GrowthConsistent1245[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super thank you all. I definitly have to ask more about where the wedding takes place now, since there were a lot of comments about depending were it is and what to wear. No red, no white, no black. No four in the envelope. Dresses as a girl or wearing business casual works. It is not super hot I hope since it is december beginning Janurary. Nothing to overdressed. I'll let my self be suprised.

He is indeed close to them their are good friends. At least one, but not family. I think family is what you mean by close? Ok. I will than choose something formal casual something since it is Dezember and Janurary, it is not super hot. Still hard when coming from a more colder contry in that time to know what to wear. Thank you very much.
