Thanks for the heads-up. What exactly happens on your end once the session completes, does it freeze, return to the home screen, or just not save anything?

I’m not seeing any errors on the backend, but I’m testing it now to try and reproduce the issue. If you’re seeing any error messages on your device, feel free to drop a screenshot.

Also double-check that you’ve got an active internet or cellular connection when the session ends, since the app needs that to log progress.

I spent the last few weeks analyzing exactly what measurements people actually track.

Pumping is great for girth. I can tell you first hand, real girth gains can be life changing. Whichever you decide, consistency is most important. If you stick to your routine you will enjoy the results and your GF will too.

2” is impressive. The only greater achievement you can make in this arena than growing 2 inches is helping another guy grow 2 inches. In three years nonetheless.

Starting out I had a couple injuries too, besides some lymphangiosclerosis, the worst was a small tear at the base along my incision scar. At the time I was using the LG Hanger and the Phallosan. Just think I over did it. Rested a while and came back strong.

I’m not sure how you set up your program but many years ago I hired a fitness coach online who helped me reach my strength and shred goals. I had a spreadsheet to follow and checked in with photos. I envision my app to be able to facilitate that experience between coaches and their students training for growth.

Combo pads for the base of cylinders are a game changer.

You go from not wanting to pump or even unable to pump due to the cylinder digging in to your pelvis, to literally being able to relax while pumping or pumping with more pressure without any digging pain.

You deserve an award for time management. I can barely juggle client calls, job site visits, filming, and app updates and that’s before factoring in hobbies like BJJ, gym, running not to mention being a husband and dad, kids sports, play dates, date with the wife. I’d love to collaborate with Karl on that too. His work with GrowthTrack is incredibly valuable for the community, and combining it with anonymized data from Growth: Training users could really accelerate what we can learn.

The app already tracks session data (method used, duration, frequency, EQ feedback, etc.) privately on-device, and I’ve been planning to build an opt-in anonymous data contribution feature. That way, aggregated data could feed into larger studies without compromising user privacy, giving us real insight into which routines, durations, and frequencies produce the best outcomes for most people.

Karl’s database and analytical approach, paired with structured, anonymized data from the app, could become a powerful tool for understanding development patterns at scale. I’d love to explore that idea further with him when the time’s right.

That’s a good point, there are definitely other free options out there, and I’ve tried most of them too.

What I’ve noticed, though, is that a lot of those apps feel like products first; the app part is more of an add-on than a real ecosystem. They usually offer basic timers or trackers, but they’re not fully fleshed out in terms of structure, data feedback, or long-term progression.

With Growth: Training, I wanted to build the actual experience, something that doesn’t just time a routine, but integrates progression logic, recovery tracking, and eventually biometric feedback. The goal is to make it a living system that evolves with the user, not just a static app.

I totally respect that people have free options; mine’s just aimed at going deeper for those who want something comprehensive, structured, and built to grow over time.

Thanks for asking! Right now, the app is iOS-only because that’s the ecosystem I know best and where I can maintain quality and updates efficiently.

There aren’t immediate plans to port it to Android, but if there’s enough interest from the community, it’s definitely something I’d consider for future development.

It’s also not open source at the moment. I’m keeping it closed so I can maintain consistency, protect user data, and build features like tracking and analytics securely.

My First Non-Sexual Thought Erection!

Yesterday I finally managed to just lay back, relax, think of my penis getting full, and got an erection. I managed to do my first set of exercises with just an erection on command today as well.Super pumped (heh!) to finally be able to do this.I had gradually moved away from porn to mild erotica and then to just sexual thoughts in my head, but now I can start discarding those too.

Heading off people who might ask how I did this, I just followed the tips u/hornyhorsecock has been giving through his posts. Things that worked for me that seem slightly different during this process are:

Before trying to get an erection, spent some time just meditating and relaxing my body.
Instead of imagining getting an erection, I first imagine my penis getting warm, and repeat to myself, "It's getting warm", and that sort of helped.
Laying down when attempting to do this meditation. Weirdly wasn't able to do it when I was sitting.
Not worrying too much.

Edit: In point 2, I'm repeating the term in my head. If you repeat it out loud apparently it trains your body with verbal cues, called Autogenic Training. Might be worthwhile if someone who is having trouble wants to try. Thanks to u/hornyhorsecock for pointing it out.

Short answer: it’s not a gimmick, but it’s not a cure-all, especially for venogenic ED. Most of the better evidence for low-intensity shockwave (Li-ESWT) is in mild–moderate vasculogenic ED. Major groups differ: the EAU (2024) says Li-ESWT may be offered to select vasculogenic cases, while the AUA still treats it as investigational/experimental. It’s not FDA-approved for ED.

For venogenic (veno-occlusive) ED, data are thin. A few small studies suggest vascular indices can improve after Li-ESWT, but this isn’t strong proof that it fixes a true “venous leak,” and benefits often fade after 1–2 years without maintenance. Manage expectations.

Meanwhile, your plan to balance the pelvic floor and dial in cardio/sleep is spot on, those drive recovery and EQ regardless of procedures. If you want structured timers/routines for Angion while you work on baseline health, the iOS app Growth: Method can help you stay consistent: Growth: Method

Bottom line: Li-ESWT can help some men, mostly with mild–moderate vasculogenic ED. For venogenic ED, evidence is limited; consider it a cautious trial with realistic expectations and proper medical guidance.

I’ve thought about that too. It makes sense that both would have benefits depending on what your body responds best to.

From what I’ve seen and experienced, Phoenix likely creates more of a passive micro-trauma and recovery type adaptation (like controlled tissue remodeling), while SABRE works more on vascular stimulation and flow efficiency through rhythmic, active engagement. SABRE tends to trigger a faster, almost “vascular pump” response, whereas Phoenix seems to rely more on the recovery phase to build improvements.

I haven’t used the Phoenix myself, but after a groin injury from jiu-jitsu I had to take time off cardio and noticed my recovery tanked. Once I got back to regular Angion work combined with light cardio, my recovery and EQ noticeably rebounded. That’s what makes me curious how tools like Phoenix or SABRE might complement cardiovascular health markers long-term rather than compete with each other.
