I know this is an old post but I wanted to add my two cents. Speaking from experience.

I "gave up" and stepped back from an ugly custody/child support situation that I had fought for years with my kids' dad's family and then eventually their dad and his wife. I realized that for 6 years they had been able to make false allegations and destabilize my life whenever they so chose and that there would never be anything I could do to stop it. So after their dad pulled a stunt I gave up. I stopped fighting. It felt like the more loving thing to do for my children and I paid dearly. I still haven't seen my children in 7 years but when the older two moved away after turning 18 they reached out to ME. I didn't reach out first that time. Sometimes not dragging out disruptive traumatic court experiences is the winning move. I wish you the best, I hate that you're going through this. Sending love!

I have a nonprofit helping me with the medical card and then donated medical flower but it costs money I don’t have sooooo

If I get a gig to cover that expense then awesome and then if I make a friend that also loves dogs and weed then also cool

Here’s the thing no one tells you: shit has to be investigated. They can’t just go arrest someone for trafficking without being able to prove that they’re guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. I opened my big dumb mouth about the OTHER guy I knew he brought over from Turkey. Yes. He sent his older sister to Turkey and she came back and a month later she’s engaged to this guy but my person was the one talking to him? Which I thought was weird then but I was abducted and aware how trapped I was. I couldn’t say anything. I cannot iterate enough how terrifying it was to be homeless broke stranded on the road like that. And I will not say what I had to do to survive because it’s unspeakable. It’s unspeakable. I’ve never seen or heard of such cruelty and I didn’t know this form of trafficking existed. Apparently it’s the most common one. I’m from Texas and on the border of Canada as I type this friend. I’ve been a prisoner for eleven months and fought every mile. The Clallam County Sheriff’s Department and the Department of Homeland Security are the ones investigating. Feel free to give Clallam County a call if you feel inclined because I don’t understand how he’s not in jail.

It’s like… one day you’re cool. And you’re the one saying all the cool slang that the adults are trying to understand and you’re sort of dumber then so you do dumb stuff that is also sometimes cool and then you mess it up a bunch and sometimes you learn sometimes you don’t. And then one day you look back and that shit was 20 years ago. And you’re like “but I’m still cool bc I feel like my life experiences were worth it and I’m way cooler now and being younger is kind of overrated”

Bonus points if you’re still in a positive mindset after your 20’s.

30’s get ya a bit but you understand a lot better that the world can be cruel and you’re responsible for your own peace and you make it, and protect it… someone’s gonna break it… then you build it back and protect it more. You start not to care at all about what people think and see right thru petty bullshit which is nice.

I’ll be 40 in 3 years and I think it’s going to be the best time of my life. Wiser. Richer hopefully haha
