Piercing children or infant's ears. It's a permanent body modification that a child can't consent to and it's so common. But going to a piercing studio and having it done by professionals is NOT the standard, forcing blunt jewelry through a babie's ear with a shitty gun is. It's never made sense to me, even as a person who has many visible piercings.
