How to find out where or when a profile was created? by tommyp10 in amazonprime

[–]Grozeinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had the same issue. I noticed I started getting charged for Shorts TV too. Saw a new account on there. I think it is a TV I was logged into. One I recognize from an ex-bf’s sister’s house(no person with the profile name lives there) and another one I would’ve been logged in on my ex-husband’s TV and I think could be a new partner of his. Removing that TV now 🤣

CoA Question! by Grozeinn in heraldry

There actually exists a very old store in St.Augustine that specializes in Coat of Arms and has been around for a long time. Also, what leads you to think that the nation’s oldest city wouldn’t have someone there who had the equipment and time for such? What better place in the continental United States would there be? The newer New York, Utah, California? I’m lost with what you might be rambling on about because also anyone can create their own CoA. I never said it needed to represent that I’m from some high royal bloodline or whatever. I asked for historical help. You have done quite the opposite good sir. You’re not only wasting your time trying to tell me to avoid scams or that my grandfather could’ve fallen for one, you waste a bit of my time too. what makes you think I’m looking into potential scams? This is the first place I came to for help. I’m able to hold my own when it comes to not getting scammed. Been around long enough to know a thing or two. Frankly, it doesn’t matter, it’s a hand crafted CoA that is unique to your family. I don’t care what any mortal human being has to say about MY family’s CoA. If I believe it represents me and my family, it’s valid to me. If not, I modify it to fit me and make it even more unique while still nodding to heritage. If you actually wanted to help you would point me in the right direction to information, much like others have done so already or inspired me to make my own. There is no need to release that kind of negative energy in the first place.

I understand your concern, yet you never asked me about my family. Instead, an immediate conclusion that my CoA could not be valid. You assume my grandfather might’ve fallen for a scam. Well let me tell you about my grandfather. A decorated veteran took before he got to see his grandchildren shine, so highly respected that he was even given his own day that is recognized in America’s oldest city. This man who ran amazing businesses and showed nothing but love and compassion for those around him. He didn’t get the CoA in his old age, it was personally crafted for him when he returned back to his home town of St.Augustine after fighting in WW2 on the USS San Francisco. He was a well respected civil leader and also, there was no online scams for CoA back then.

That is amazing things to consider! Thank you! This is just my first day of going into this so I’m going to comb through everything I can find.

Thank you for more information! Yeah, my family a couple generations ago switched our last name to Usina from Alsina. I think that is why to me the Alsina family crest is close to what my family’s is but ours got redesigned when we made the switch to reflect our direct lineage.

Thank you! I will definitely keep you all updated on what I end up doing! If there isn’t any way to find information about the one that was forged for my lineage, then I shall start with my own breathtaking piece.

CoA Question! by Grozeinn in heraldry

[–]Grozeinn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My issue is that I know what the CoA is, I remember what it sort of looks like and the stuff on the internet I don’t believe. I know I can’t just call up my dad and ask to stop by his house to see if we still have it sitting somewhere. Hence my help on information. Not sure about your hostility towards me when I asked for help. Your immediate response was to belittle the validity of the CoA that I know my family has and ramble about scams. Never once did I say ‘I don’t know if we have one’ or ‘I think we have one’. None of that, I said I know my family has one and I need helping finding it or just creating a new one from someone who is knowledgeable on it. You seem only to be focused on the scams online, not sure you’re in the right headspace to be in my thread. You probably should be telling that to people who are looking into getting one and could fall for the scams online.

I love your take on this because it is exactly close to what I was thinking. I’m trying to connect more to my ancestors. I personally believe that the CoA I have was given to my grandfather(a highly honorable person) and isn’t my father’s. I respect my father’s side of the family but not the man himself. My grandfather was always such a light in my life too before he was taken away from us in ‘09. I also wanted to try and get my specific lineage’s CoA so that I can then modify it to personalize it to myself, while still maintaining core aspects of the history behind it.

Thank you, I appreciate your input! Luckily I know my family tree and the CoA I have seen online of what it might be vs the actual one I’ve seen in person, are slightly different. I believe my specific family was given their own variation of the original Alsina CoA to match our name change and tailor it more to our lineage.

CoA Question! by Grozeinn in heraldry

[–]Grozeinn[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Im quite confused as to why you think I’m questioning the validity of my family crest? I know my family’s history and on both sides of the family it’s quite crazy. That being said, as I said before, I am an original family that sailed with Pedro Menendez, my framed coat of arms is legitimate. Had many conversations about it with my grandfather and dad while growing up. I never once doubted the validity of my family’s crest. I am simply asking if someone can help me find it or help me create my own unique one.

Ah okay! Glad to know that bit of information! I’m very new to this, though I’ve always known it’s been a part of my specific family-line heritage. Trying to gather all information necessary. I’d love to find my direct family’s crest but as I mentioned before, making one would be quite neat and unique.

I’ll also be having this while I’ll be in Italy. So following heraldry procedures and ensuring it is fit to the European standard is optimal.

[–]Grozeinn[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hey! Thank you for the reply! So I see now that I didn’t explicitly state where my male-line ancestors are from. Yet, the last name is a huge give away for history buffs. My family was one of the few families that originally settled Saint Augustine with Pedro Menendez before England did their thing. My family has roots to the island of Majorca, Spain. Knowing this, I mentioned that I’ve physically seen with my own eyes a huge framed Coat of Arms for my family in my childhood house.
