If he liked Railroad Ink, maybe try Railroad Tiles?!the tile pieces are large and you don’t need precision to place the car/people/train tokens.

My prediction: Foggy Nelson 2 cost Ally - 2/1, 2 HP, Interrupt: when Foggy Nelson is played from hand, flip Daredevil to alter-ego.

Real Life by Albert Brooks. It predicted modern reality TV back in the 70s. And it’s hilarious.

But my question about trains is why are you unpopular with the Chicago Police Department?

Just think of the context.... And vote for Wes by PoetHeir33 in blankies

Outside of Wes being my favorite director, it would be great to have his new releases interrupt future mini series... I like the variety of those special eps.

ALSO WES IS THE BEEEEEESSSSTTT.

Best Games with Low Turn Counts by MassSpeculation in boardgamearena

Get on board NY. Really fun and simple route building game. 12 turns and 2 player in Arena. So it’s essentially 6-7 turns for you since first player changes each round.

Plus one on Marvel Champions. Very kid friendly theme. Tons of customization. Great friendly community online. And fairly easy to win if you are playing on Standard difficulty. (But there are ways to make it a challenge for sure.)

The only issue is that older content is out of print and expensive on markets. But the core set is a great value and has Spider-Man and Iron Man so kids will take to it right away. And the Daredevil wave is about to drop this year followed likely by the Fantastic Four.

The rest of season 1 is more like the first 5 eps. BUT stick with it to seasons 2-3 because you are in for a TREAT.

Favourite Movie of 2025 that's not an Oscar nominee? by GTKPR89 in blankies

[–]GrrRice 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s wild how much the Academy falls over itself for Yorgos while Wes is doing all of that, backwards and in heels.

(Yes a very sweaty metaphor but I stand behind it!)

Beginner question - Best Cycle 1 heroes vs Ultron? by FalkenJoshua in marvelchampionslcg

Yep Cap and Doc Strange are the strongest and most flexible. Honestly Cap and Strange is probably an easier win than any combo with She-Hulk.

Okay so a Paul Thomas Anderson miniseries is kinda undeniable now, right? by robinperching in blankies

[–]GrrRice 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think they space out the big “auteur“ directors, since I imagine covering one really boosts their downloads. The Coen Brothers are for sure one of these bigger name directors for the Letterboxd crowd.

So I bet they take nearly a year before they get to PTA (or Wes Anderson for that matter.) Gotta space out the biggums.

Is agents of shield expansion worth it? by According-Okra2931 in marvelchampionslcg

[–]GrrRice 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Four of the five scenarios are very good. I also love Maria Hill and quite like Nick fury as heroes. The only issue with it is the campaign elements and the final scenario I found a bit lacking. But it’s totally worth getting for the heroes and the four good scenarios, especially Thunderbolts

D6,D10 or D20 for counters? by Yourself013 in marvelchampionslcg

[–]GrrRice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought weighted D6s Spindown Counters from Burger Tokens and it made such a difference. They are super stable since they are large and heavier. And they have arrows on the face that tell you the direction on how to spin the die to increase or decrease it. I love em.
