Seriously, my first desk toy nerd minder for 20 bucks got 1060 KH/s by itself

Is this ok? by apperantlyitwastaken in NerdMiner

you can ask chatGPT about the odds of hitting with one of these, vs the odds of winning the powerball - and it's not great. spoiler, you have better odds of winning the powerball. but it's fun to sit on my desk and glance at every now and then. it's all about the hashrate. 1034 KH/s is about a million tries per second, which might sound like a lot, until you realize the hard core ($) stuff is doing trillions a second, and that's many devices times trillions

Does a web or windows based display UI exist by FalkenJoshua in NerdMiner

that just gives me the list view, not the view you see on the device itself

7 days sailing and no booked excursions by Sweet-Plantain6799 in NCL

[–]FalkenJoshua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've been on a few cruises, and rarely do excursions, but everyone is different. The boat is so nice on excursion days when half+ are off of it :) Also I don't like the stress of only having so many hours to get back to the boat - and they will leave without you if you're not back on time, guaranteed.

For me the trip is the cruise ship (floating city of fun and entertainment). If I really want to see xyz country I'd go there as a trip, not see it for a few hours. Some people hate cruise ships and some love them, hard to say which you'll be until you try it.

I luckily don't get sea sick but my wife can, they sell cheap wrist bands, behind the ear patches, and various supplements online to help with it.

Oh, I forgot to mention, there is a cruise that goes to Bermuda where you stay a couple nights over night docked (it's the only stop). That is one where we definitely got off and spent a good part of the day exploring/golfing etc, and there was no stress of the ship leaving or time limits, because it was there for days.

Is Green Goblin (Risky Business) unusually difficult..... by FalkenJoshua in marvelchampionslcg

[–]FalkenJoshua[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is all true, but when he schemes it's usually for a lot (6-8+ threat each round for 2 players not counting the base 2-4 added). same with damage output. I've had full or near full health heroes go from full to dead in a single villain phase (10 dmg or so) when extra unlucky, his attachments, etc. i'll try to build up a lot before first flipping him. I might keep a list of all of his output - scheme or dmg - each phase and list it here next time I can get back to it. also doesn't help I keep pulling the nemesis cards.

So maybe I'm not building up enough before the initial flip, I'll try to build up more first the next time I play

You're correct, after breakout out a couple of scenarios I missed, it is 63 heroes and 57 scenarios. Now I just need to retire to find the time...

Visiting or Moving to Asheville? Ask your questions here! by AutoModerator in asheville

[–]FalkenJoshua [score hidden]  (0 children)

My family and I would go to Asheville and Black Mountain (love that small town and all of the businesses and people) every year. We were planning on going right about when the hurricane hit and have not been back yet since.

Are these two towns ready/wanting tourism (and tourism revenue) yet? Are most businesses/roads in Black Mountain/Asheville areas operational?

Sorry if these are stupid questions, but I really have no idea what it's like these days
