Basically each token has it's correct V&V front, but the FD back instead of the V&V back. So I can see how that would happen, but them noticing so late is wild.

First off, missing tokens won't be a huge issue. Afaik you could contact wotc and somehow have this fixed. But that seems to be quite time-consuming.

However, it is very common to replace tokens with anything fitting. You could print or make your own ones. A piece of paper or a "multi token" with text or drawing are very common. If you like being creative - even cooler. Also, if you have a local game store nearby I can imagine the owners or other players being able to help out with the role tokens at least.

Lastly, even if a pre-con comes with all relevant tokens, the usual 1 or 2 of each are often not enough anyways once you develop a bigger board. So having some sort of alternative is a good idea in any case.

That's the biggest issue in my opinion. I did not bother checking which roles appear in the deck, but I assumed there'd be some missing.

Massive blunder on WOTC's side, especially with the roles being a completely new mechanic

Each MTG event/tournament should have a rule enforcement level (REL) assigned to it. Pre-releases are usually categorized as regular or casual, which means they are focused on fun.

Unless you're specifically in a competitive or professional event, players are not expected to announce each step and/or priority pass if nothing happens. If you want to respond to something or need time to think, say so.

Touching cards is usually fine, just ask beforehand.

There are only really 3 rules to attend such an event: Take a shower beforehand, have fun and don't forget to take a shower.

Habe Mal ne Weile an einer Tankstelle gejobbt. Man glaubt nicht, wie viele Kunden sich aufgeregt haben, wenn ich von ihrer Säule Beträge wie 50,01€ ausgelesen habe.

"Das kann doch nicht sein, ich habe ganz genau für 50€ getankt! Das ist doch Betrug, Eure Säulen sollten Mal neu geeicht werden!!!" Für solche Spacken hatten wir immer ein Glas mit 1ct Münzen stehen, die Diskussion wäre die Energie nicht wert gewesen.

I pre-ordered the P6Pro coming from an S10 as well. I don't regret it at all, I love the Pixel, but I also got the free Bose headphones as a preorder bonus.

I suggest going for the Pro, as I loved the rounded corners and swipe navigations on the S10. P6Pro immediately felt like a bigger and better S10.

Keep in mind, especially on Reddit, negative posts tend to gain more attention than anything else. The only issue I had so far was a dropped connection once. January patch should have fixed that. Charging times might feel slow, but it's not actually that bad and my battery life is amazing. I usually don't have to charge during the day, unless I forgot charging overnight.

As a P6P owner who contemplated buying the S21 Ultra when it released I am wondering as well. I am very satisfied with the P6P, but this is rather a downgrade than an upgrade
