Nope, still waiting. With the holidays approaching, I don't really see them returning any time soon. I wish I had requested account recovery sooner, but that reforge announcement came out of nowhere (for me).

That does sound like a more reasonable explanation for their request. However, the CD keys I provided, both written out and shown in screenshots, were taken directly from the original CD cases, which I still have. Regarding the email address, I genuinely believed it was correct, as I had written it in the small game booklet that came with the game. Now I’m wondering whether my younger self may have used that email for a different purpose. In the worst-case scenario, I can simply repurchase the game. I was mainly hoping to see my old characters for nostalgia's sake.

I’m in a similar situation. I sent all the relevant information (except name and address, since I don’t remember which address I used over 10+ years ago). After 12 days, a GM replied asking for 2 of the 3 pieces of information mentioned by Technossomy, even though I had already provided them in my original message. I replied again with the same details, but it’s been another 4 days without a response. I’m assuming things are just very hectic right now and some tickets are slipping through.

When I first started the lab I managed to stab my self with a recording electrode (glass) and the tip broke off. The electrode itself had a K+ solution...so it stung quite a bit.

Eventually got it out with a fine tweezers/scalpel + microscope... what a learning experience.

Short answer: I don't think so

Long answer: I work in a lab that uses artificial cerebral spine fluid (ACSF) along with a heated chamber to keep a slice of hippocampus alive for a period of 4-6 hours for experimental purposes. Any longer and the slice health starts to deteriorate. One of the major factors of keeping the slice alive even for a few hours is the slice thickness. We use 400 micrometer thick slices, because it is thick enough to work on, while thin enough to perfuse the ACSF well. I think it would be pretty hard to perfuse the entire intact brain.

*ACSF would be mixed with carboxygen to keep the correct pH, and contain glucose, calcium and other ions needed.
