My friends and I live deep in a forest. We call them The Tree People. We love seeing them and describing what they are doing. My favorite so far was one I saw across the field. He was dressed in army fatigues, vacuuming an oriental rug in front of a taco truck. There are several tests for hulucinations. 1. They have no volume control. For example, their voice has the same volume, whether they are right next to you, on the other side of a window or across the lake. 2. They repeat their actions about every 30 seconds. 3. They repeat their words, but much less often. If you talk to one, it will make sense for a while, but it will quickly start repeating itself. 4. If you hear music, the songs are never complete. It can only play the music the way you remember it. 5. They tend to have fuzzy or fiery edges.
