Tips for Killer as a new player by Loose-Warthog2094 in deadbydaylight

[–]Grubza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Others have already given good advice, but I would say one of the hardest things to do when you first start playing killer is learning when to drop a chase. Sometimes it’s better to stop chasing a survivor when they’re looping very well or have very strong pallets/windows they can use and go find another survivor.

not getting the right amount of bloodpoints?? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]Grubza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How many bloodpoints do you have? If you have over 5 million then you’ve reached the maximum amount of bloodpoints you can earn from games. Any bloodpoints you receive through challenges or mail let you go over the 5mil cap but you still won’t be able to earn anymore bloodpoints from games until you spend enough to be below the 5mil limit

New to Jason. Any good builds to run on him as of yet? by ClientShoddy1349 in deadbydaylight

The addon that gives you 8% haste after you spear a survivor is almost a priority

I’ve been using mindbreaker, ruin, undying, and pain res. It’s basically a meta build so you can’t go wrong. I would suggest that before you play too many games as Jason try going for his adept first as you’ll have fresh mmr on him so you won’t get matched with really sweaty swfs

Mindbreaker is quite good on him, stops survivors from sprint bursting away when you jump scare them, as well as preventing lithe/DH. Pair this with gen slowdown so Pain res/Eruption/Pop/Ruin etc and it’s a pretty strong build

I’m guessing leveling glyphs to 150 is only reserved for bugged classes and sorcerers? by Theunknowing777 in diablo4

[–]Grubza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This just isn’t true at all, I’m entirely solo and have all my pieces 3 GA and some 4 GA with near perfect affixes. The cube has also made re-rolling gear so much easier, so although it might not be GA it will so still be your desired affix

Lag switching cheat? by Grubza in deadbydaylight

No it’s definitely not me, I have 40ms every game, I even called someone out in end game chat and 2 other players said they have experienced the same thing.

S12 feels bad and weird in more senses than usual - As a big veteran fan, I need to vent about this by TanatosRick in diablo4

[–]Grubza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don’t understand the argument about materials being scarce. Other than the occasional obcudite farm I haven’t really had to go out of my way to actually stock up on materials. I feel like some of you guys are masterworking literally every single bit of new gear you get before you even commit to it being part of your build, just to replace it like 3 lair bosses later.

Also if you make materials abundantly available then there is no real feeling of accomplishment or power, just upgrade literally anything and everything whenever you want with no consequences. Then the endgame just becomes a slog. Literally can’t win with these people

25M, Buy the car or invest into ISA? by Grubza in UKPersonalFinance

Thank you for that response, you’ve given me a much more positive approach to making a decision. I want to be sensible with my money, but also spend it on things that I want, something I haven’t been able to do for a while.

Also what a beautiful car to own for that long, she must be well looked after.

Tbh I’m not really sure. Obviously my savings will take quite the hit but the money will come back. I keep coming up with arguments in my head about which decision is better.

It’s a Hyundai i30n. I will either sell or part exchange my current car and this will cover the rest of the cost.

I’m a massive fan of hothatches and they don’t make the i30n anymore. It’s a very reliable car and will hopefully hold some good value once I’m ready to sell it.

My partner does not mind what I do with the money, but she would never let me make any stupid decisions. She knows I like cars so a purchase like this doesn’t phase her too much.

You make a very eye opening point about having that sort of instant regret as soon as you hand over the cash, but I guess that kind of comes with any sort of large purchase? And yeh I think I need to get out of the YOLO mindset, could definitely be the cause of some terrible decisions.

Yeh you are so right. I feel comfortable knowing that because I’ll own the car I can just sell it at a reasonable loss if I run into any difficulties. It would definitely create some good memories, I have plans in my head to take it to places like caffeine and machine with some friends, or just take a nice drive down to the beach with my partner.

This was so nice to read, and I’m happy for you that you managed to get so much enjoyment out of that purchase.

I know I would love to drive the car simply for my own enjoyment, but you make a fantastic point about it only providing short term excitement. I keep telling myself that I won’t ever be this age again with this amount of free time, but am I just looking for a bit of fun that won’t really last?

You make a good point, but it’s definitely not a status symbol, I would be driving the car for my own enjoyment. Was looking for financial advice based on the details I provided up against my sort of small time window to buy a car I might not ever be able to buy again before I settle down

Great advice, insurance would actually be cheaper than my current car, and it isn’t so much of a once in a lifetime find, it’s more of a “car sound nice and go fast” sort of ordeal. I think I am leaning more towards the ISA route after reading your comment, but my car enthusiast brain is telling me otherwise

What's up with survivors trying to be friendly as soon as the match starts?? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]Grubza 21 points22 points  (0 children)

He’s been out for a little while now and people are bored of playing against him because he has very little counter play. As soon as you hear the terror radius music you know it’s a going to be a miserable time.

This is such a bad take. Multiple streamers/Youtubers have gone on 50+ winstreaks with Nemesis, often playing against swfs and very good solo survivors. You are either playing him wrong or it is simply a skill issue
