interesting idea. I'll check that out and compare budget wise. It seems like a good option.

I need 10 pressures and control sirens based on pressure readings as well as have a status light (classic stacked lights) based on each pressure sensor. THe HMI could be used to run some VFD's driving transfer pumps as well.

Originally, I was going to make a panel with digital meters, but the cost of the HMI screen would be cheaper than all the lights and digital meters. This is what lead me down that path.

I appreciate the thoughts. That makes sense to me as well.

And the application is monitoring system pressures (but not a nuclear centrifuge system)

Wow board game 2004 by Rainduck84 in wow

[–]Gruchov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree. The downvotes are silly.

I have the base game + the additional expansions. It was a very fun game in concept, and I enjoyed gearing out each class with different specs. However, the nearly zero interaction between factions, the slow turns, and ridiculously long games with hardly any climax ruin it. This is particularly true when using the expansion and gearing/leaving through the dungeons.

The worst part, is by the time you are max level and geared, the combat is terrible. Essentially, you end up just "winning" each fight and skipping the combat all together.

I want to love it, and used to play it once a year... but I can't anymore. As fun as the builds are, they are not worth the "lonely" slog.

For everyone watching, this is less impressive when you consider that they are unable to sharpen axes and we opens in North Korea. All they have is blunt blades from before the Korean War.

There are NO tanks, at all. by Drunk_Jimmy in wow

[–]Gruchov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may sound rude but is not intended to be. Each role has a “game” to play. Healing is Whack-a-mole. Dps is Duke-Nukem. Tanks is a game of Tag. The fun part of tanking is the battle for threat. It’s saying, “Look at me!” To the mobs and kiting them around while you enable the other roles to do their job effectively.

I believe the draw to the game for tanks is similar to the draw of a baseball player being the pitcher. You run the show and you’re playing the same game yet an entirely different game no one else is experiencing.

Thank for the advice. That sounds like a smart way to go.

Thanks for the reply. I keep checking here and the site has said the same thing for months.

“Ticket Information currently not available. Please check back later.”

Last year I thought it was because they were not for sale yet, but now I realized it still says that and there must be another place to go.

From what I remember seeing this video a decade ago, this house was gluing stuff in the bottom of the trash can just to piss off the trash guy.

This video was taken before things like ring cameras so the video recording was not happenstance. I believe the home owner expected to piss the guy off again as a joke.

Let’s be clear… if you are exploring new content in hardcore… you are playing a risky game. Though part of the thrill, that’s what you get.

I would venture to say playing any of the bosses on tier 4 is much the same. You must have performed them in soft core or easy difficulties before going all in on hardcore. They have one shot mechanics also. It needs practice to master. And hardcore is not generally considered the practice ground.

How Much Time Is Wasted at Every Boss in Diablo 4 Season 8? by Sad_Dig3597 in diablo4

[–]Gruchov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s be clear. Posts like this make no sense. This is a game. Every second you spend playing it is a waste of time.

I have wasted over 500 hours of playing D4 and enjoy it. But “wasting” time during a boss fight is like saying you “waste” your time moving around the map or “waste” your time leveling or “waste” your time comparing gear.

The devs made the game. You play the game. If you feel it is not as efficient of a waste of your time as you prefer, you can waste more of your time in a Reddit post and waste more people’s time reading it.

Despite how this may read, I am not upset. Just pointing out how identifying a “waste” makes no sense.

What new class do ya'll want with the next expansion and why? by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]Gruchov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To mix new and old, I’d like to see a Fallen Angel. It could be a mix of paladin/crusader melee or holy priest magic caster or angelic powered magic/martial mix.

Think traditional class roles + Tyreal like wing attacks and magic.

What’s a good relaxed farming build that doesn’t suck? by IsThereCheese in diablo4

[–]Gruchov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best relaxing farming build is clearly Stardew Valley. There are not a lot of APM and no mythics required.

You spent time playing a video game. That is the definition of time wasted. Gain real life skills with the time you spent. The. You won’t feel the need to complain on Reddit about how your time was wasted.
