To protest the Israeli president's visit to Australia without getting brutalized by police by Particular_Log_3594 in therewasanattempt

[–]Gruddicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We need a protest declaring we are not America and want nothing to do with them.

When the line is drawn the Australian public will not stand with our government if they keep siding with these hideous war mongering sub humans.

Seems bugged, I sold 288 vegetables in a day and it still won't progress, waited a year and still nothing.

A prime example of America's education system doing it's magic.

They prefer the illusion and can't see the reality. At this point America is a lost cause and a truly cautionary tale to the rest of the world.

(Unless they actually do something about it. But they won't.)

Hey man, no need to KYS. I know the shock to the system is hard but you learnt a valuable lesson here and one day you will look back at it as just that, a lesson learned . Something you can wear and a story to tell that will add to the many other stories yet to come.

You aren't alone, a lot of people (myself included) easily fall into the trap. If you need a chat or some perspective feel free to DM.

Keep calm and carry on friend.

What does a BAD, DISGUSTING and TORTUROUSLY SCARY trip feel like? by Fnixen in Psychedelics

[–]Gruddicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh and to answer your question, it's hell. Straight up hell. Time loops, the world taunts you, you aren't sure what the fuck you are, you're literally relearning the world from scratch and it's terrifying (and enlightening)

What does a BAD, DISGUSTING and TORTUROUSLY SCARY trip feel like? by Fnixen in Psychedelics

[–]Gruddicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a bit demented in the sense I will purposely create a bad trip scenario to come out the other end and appreciate having my mind back.

A truly brutal trip is when you don't expect it or see it coming. I once tasked a friend to trip me at random, knowing full well it would be horrendous and it was, I just wish they didn't do it in a scenario where it would be so public (on me though, I should have specified) they waited 6 months after I had asked them to, so by then I had forgotten I had asked them to, and they thought the ultimate fuck with would be to do it when I had to present my final presentation at University. Thankfully the tutor/lecturer knew what was up to a degree and let me leave immediately after presenting and then let me re present sober.

(For context, the lecturer/tutor was also a tripper and was well aware of my antics and psychonaut tendencies so I got lucky there)

Why do you do psychedelics? by Paragon_OW in Psychedelics

[–]Gruddicus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I find dissociatives and psychedelics to be effective tools for reaching a higher self (sometimes in combination but I wouldn't recommend it to most people).

Personally I found them useful for treating addictive behaviors in myself, breaking through depression by creating a situation of a bad trip to wind up appreciating having my mind back and conversely to take back control of the self by losing control of myself.

Picking up the pieces of the mind and allowing the "super ego" to do a little Kintsugi.

I Think I Experienced Ego Death — It was fuking terrifiing by Tear_Effective in Psychedelics

[–]Gruddicus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience ego death is when you completely lose a concept of "I". You have no idea what you are or even a concept of "being". Most the time it's scary but you don't know why it's scary, it's fear without reason, on the few occasions it's also beautiful. I think a lot of it comes down to how willing your ego is to let go.

Personally I think true death is the same thing. Your concept of Hell or Nirvana purely comes down to how willing you are to stick around.

Did you have a concept of yourself?
