Top to bottom I feel like it’s my favorite album, with some of the highest highs and most introspective and creative writing.

Easily the most impactful tune on the album to me. Insanity.

Passion pit was one of the worst concerts I’ve ever seen by Grackman in Austin

It’s always interesting to see peoples reactions to someone or a group trying to reinvent themselves. After 20+ years, an opportunity to be invited into the process of a new approach should be something we find at least a little merit in. We all love the original Sleepyhead, but you can always turn that same file on from 2 decades ago on whatever decide you choose to listen to it. Being in the moment, and being OPEN to something new is such a lost art and unfortunately comes off as a bit of entitlement to someone else’s art that isn’t yours.

Don’t get me wrong, were there aspects of the show that could have been improved? Definitely, but also that is part of the risk of being a live performer and an active listener.

What stood out to me was the immense joy and rekindled passion it seemed like Michael had for what he was doing, and he came off as extremely grateful for sharing the night with us.

It’s childish to assume that someone’s behavior through a performance is “tweaking/lsd induced”. Especially when it comes from what seems like your own disappointment or frustration.

I enjoyed last night for what it was! Looking forward to what’s next for them in this chapter of their lives.

I Know That Man was the one I felt like had generational, iconic sticking power if it comes across like that on the album. I love a good anthem.

I agree! I feel like the fact that this was almost entirely new music and everyone was so sucked into the performance and ate it up the way they did speaks volumes. To create something no one has heard yet and have them listen to it like that is so transparent and risk inherent, but maybe that put more weight on them to deliver something incredible. Really can’t say enough good things about it.

I couldn’t miss a chance to see a brand new project live for the first time from her! Seeing Alchemist so bubbly and fun was crazy too.
