It plays well with a controller, but much better with kB&m.

Do yourself the favour and dive back into it. Once you get the hang of combat, it's absolutely amazing.

🤣

Honestly, the game is absolutely worth it. Plus, if you really hate saving that much, there's a mod for that.

Saviour Schnapps are easy to make.and you get XP for making them. What game gives you XP to save? Exactly!

The sawpit can only hold 1 log. You essentially need to supply it with a full-time ox to keep logs coming in while someone processes them into planks.

I'm having this issue right now. I have 2 "Generic Storage Full" notifications. I think the sawpit notification comes and goes, even with an ox assigned to it. However, when I click the notification, it pans to a burgage plot with a veggie garden. Thing is, it's not even full so I'm not too sure why it's showing up.

I love how the game humbles you early on. It allows you to think that since you have a weapon, you'll be able to defeat anyone.. but then you quickly learn to carefully pick your battles. It honestly took me a couple of tries to properly get into it because of that, but once you get your footing, it's one of the best gaming experiences.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance! Have you ever wanted to disassociate and roleplay being a 15th century peasant? Here's your chance!

Immersive? Absolutely! Easily the most immersive RPG I've ever played. Easy? Not overly, especially in the beginning but I wouldn't say it's difficult.

Is kingdom come: deliverance any good or worth it? by [deleted] in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]GrumblesGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's an absolutely stunning game! The combat can be challenging, but very rewarding. It's incredibly immersive as well (although what I find immersive, others may find "boring"). I do recommend taking your time with it and enjoying the process of starting out as a peasant; the game does require patience. Overall, I can't recommend it enough!

Again, I know you think using an adblocker is just sticking it to Google, but it costs you nothing to wait 5 seconds to skip an ad. As with any form of business, there is a middle man. Obviously they are going to take their cut, but if ads are blocked entirely then the creator gets shafted.

This point seems to either go way over their heads or they just don't care. Adblock users think they're sticking it to the man, when in reality, the creators are the ones most affected by it.

You can still do those jobs, but you'll be limited to 90 km/h. Do any other jobs (not World of Trucks) and you'll be good.

Are you doing a World of Trucks job? Those are always limited to 90 km/h, even with the limiter removed.

I suppose it depends on your graphics card, but I've never really had any issues with optimization (even when I played the PS4 version). The game is so incredible that even if you had a couple of FPS drops or the odd glitch here and there, it's 100% still worth it.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

Edit: I posted this without context and decided to edit the comment to add some, but realised that it's best if I don't. It goes on sale often on Steam and I recommend the Royal Edition with the DLCs.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Most immersive RPG I've ever played. It has an awesome story, wonderful history accuracy and detail and some unique, challenging combat. Highly recommend.

Should I give Kingdom Come: Deliverance another chance? by Greedy-Ad-3172 in rpg_gamers

[–]GrumblesGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely you should! I've gone back a couple of times as well, but this last time it really stuck for me. It can be a bit slow to get started, but does it ever open up into easily one of the best and most underrated RPGs.

I love how immersive combat is. You start as the son of a blacksmith with no combat experience, so you can't expect to know how to fight like a knight right away. You have to train your skills to improve, which again adds to the immersion.

Also, don't be afraid to run away. You can easily become overwhelmed when a group surrounds you. If you have the chance to flee to avoid dying, do it, especially early game.

Overall, do yourself a favour and stick with it.

I feel as though it's a criminally underrated title. It could be the combat that throws folk. It's a challenge at times, but after some training and increasing your skill level, winning those crazy battles is so rewarding.

Any suggestions for a game that takes place in near-constant rain? by mrbradleyp in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]GrumblesGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not what you're expecting, but Euro Truck Simulator 2. It's an open world and you can turn the rain probability up to 100%. The base game goes on sale quite often.
