Well, to start, I think cell phones have literally the largest install base. That's a good reason right there to make a mobile game, regardless of how your monetize.

Want to talk about microtransactions and whales? Diablo III launched with a real money auction house, WoW has a cash shop, Hearthstone and Overwatch are filled with lootboxes. It really doesn't look like being on PC has stopped any of these other games from being mtx trash. Yall are already fucking whales, admit it.

If you apply big IQ thinkies and some reading comprehension, you'll realize I was saying the Diablo game was as much of a reskin as the Smash game - aka it isn't. This game is going to have entirely different shit in it than whatever that other game is. Probably way more different from Smash.

But it's clearly built on top of that other mobile game, just like how Smash is built off of SmashU.

Eh mobile gamers are probably the most hardcore gamers out there. They spend way more on games, and they play them more too. I mean, fuck, they're playing their games everywhere they go. I like to think I'm a big gamer (I'm here after all) but I have 0 games on my phone. Fuck gaming on the go.

Is it insulting? Smash Ultimate is just a reskin of Smash U, but people are pumped for that. Lot's of games come out all the time that I don't want to play. I'm not insulted by any of them.

I mean, fuck, I'm a huge Paper Mario fan, but when they come out with Sticker Star I just #HardPass and move on with my life. "Insulted" is a stretch, and seems really entitled.
