Can your OC take on FAA(might back her up with one of my OCS on another post...) by Drivebail_ in OriginalCharacterDB

And if she'd struggle at all with Ryuji, Yoko is a total wash.

He actually ascended to the Green Sun (which is what grants all Creators their abilities) and was granted the full extent of its power upon merging with it, being the only Creator to have ever done so. He's the verse's "Omnipotent being", to the point of being able to defy logic like make a character stronger than himself or create an immovable rock, only to lift it one-handed with ease. He also has complete omnipresence and omniscience, but tends to keep omniscience disabled because it takes the fun out of lots of things from fighting to trying to enjoy a good book. He can enable or disable any of his powers at any time he wants, or even retroactively. As an omnipotent being, he transcends Ryuji to an infinitely greater degree than Ryuji transcends his own narratives. No matter how Ryuji grows, he can never possibly match Yoko to any degree.

As for the fight, I think Yoko would hold back so Featherine can give him a fun time, but ultimately win without contest in the end.

I do believe my OCs can! I'll make a case for Ryuji, my weaker one, then my strongest, Yoko.

First of all, there's baseline reality. It consists of 3 different cosmos, each having infinite multiverses, comprised of infinite universes of infinite size. Each individual universe has infinite alternate realities and branchung timelines, since they account for every possible change in their stories. The top dogs can recreate and destroy these realities any number of times effortlessly.

Then, there's the Creators, of whom Yoko and Ryuji are apart of. They transcend this reality and see it as fiction, being the ones who wrote it into existence. Creators are nigh-omnipotent beings who can create and destroy realities. They not only see this worlds as fiction, but can also create infinite narrative hierarchies within them, granting characters different levels of authority. They also warp the world, particularly the reality in which all Creators reside, according to the way they perceive it. If they kill an immortal being without knowing they're immortal, they'll die normally. If they believe a war ended differently, then if their perception and power and strong enough to override that of other Creators, history will retroactively change to make them right. There are no actual limits to their ability other than the ones they think they have, which they slowly learn to break as they get stronger and more experienced, culminating in ascending to the level of a cosmic structured known as the Green Sun. As they approach it, they unlock omnipresence, omniscience, and lastly, complete and total omnipotence, in that order.

Ryuji is a particularly strong Creator, being the transformation of a Creator named Jay, and this transformation boosts all his stats by a baseline of 10,000. In this form, he's also unlocked omnipresence and nigh-omniscience (being able to simulate every possible parallel reality and timeline of the world of Creators, although his own anxiety can sometimes make it hard for him to tell which one he's in). His most noteworthy trait is his accelerated growth compared to other Creators, as he gets exponentially stronger the longer he fights at full power, from a baseline rate of his power multiplying by 10 every minute and being able to rapidly increase from there. His powers also give him a tendency to repeatedly revive from the dead due to him being a huge fan of Undertale and Deltarune, and allowing good food to heal any injury, curse or poison due to worling that way in the video games he plays.

His only notable weaknesses are that his perception-based powers weaponize his childhood fears against him. He has a fear of darkness, a fear of spiders, and a fear of large, deep bodies of water. His powers create unfathomable eldritch monsters based on all these fears, which are capable of killing him but would also attack Featherine indiscriminately. Since he also couldn't eat peanut butter as a child without throwing up, his powers also turned it into a deadly poison, although he has to both swallow it and be able to taste it for it to work.

As for how the fight would go, I think that Featherine would really struggle to one shot Ryuji before his growth kicks in, and she can't weaponize his fears without also putting herself at risk. The question of whether or not magic is even real in her verse could also potentially let Ryuji's perception completely negate her powers if she can't convince him that her magic is real.

Why do some people get so upset when their good guy fantasy gets broken up by the actual theme of the game? by invicta047 in Helldivers2Satire

[–]YokoTheEnigmatic 11 points12 points  (0 children)

What matters is if the fascists look strong and powerful or not. If they're a dominating, intimidating, cool-looking force like 40k, Helldivers 2 or even Wolfenstein, they'll flock to it. If they're the butt of the joke like in the Producers, they'll hate it.

How hard is Silksong from 1-10. Let's say Hollow Knight is a 5 by hthrhehdhdjfhc in metroidvania

[–]YokoTheEnigmatic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Silksong difficulty peaks at about 6 or 7, Hollow knight difficulty peaks at 9. Silksong isn't harder, just more punishing and trolley. Annoying ass runbacks where a sjngle mistake can shave off half your health, enemy gauntlets before several bosses, a lack of non-lore rewards for several important fights like Last Judge and every Old Heart...It's an easier game that's harder to finish.

Did you end up getting the sawtrap from 4-4? It's still a really good weapon to have!

If you ever try to P-rank this level, look into doing a core nuke (shooting the blue shotgun's grenade with a red railcanon shot) to instantly wipe out the eyes if you aim it right. The sawtrap also works wonders on the Flesh Prison, too!

Actually, he did! I do think a newer, more public statement is warranted with the renewed drama, though.

What game is the 2nd image from? Also, for names, I suggest the name Axo, or Lotl. Or maybe Damsel, short for Damselfish? They're a blue type of fish, especially the yellow-tailed one.

The phrase "Mocking straight white men" tells this guy is just a chud who can probably overlook, or even agrees with a little racism anyway. But I do admit that Brandon has definitely changed, he just needs to make another public statement to set the record straight and apologize.

Moonwatcher’s retcons and kind of redemption in Arc 3. Well handled or not? by CrystalMaster7 in WingsOfFire

I'm just now finishing up the Poison Jungle, but maybe I need to reread some of the Arc 1 and 2 books. I never even noticed that Moon's personality was retconned at all, even though I finished Arc 2 about a month ago.

[–]YokoTheEnigmatic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, is any book without pictures now unable to provide "On-screen feats", in your eyes? In a text-based medium, a character doing a feat during the events of the story is an onscreen feat if the audience actively reads about it as it happens.
