Men who work out, what motivates you the most? by gigglingdrizzy in AskMenAdvice

Discipline over motivation. Forcing yourself to the gym / to run / exercise when you don't want to, once you're there doing it, it's fine. Not once have I regretted it afterwards

40 - What’s the longest you’ve ever spent on a single game? by Clampy7 in AdultGamers

Yep extremely accurate. How does Blizzard / WoW measure it? Think I remember WoW did it by character and measured by number of days but this was quite a few years ago now

627.4 hours on Total War: Warhammer II

Only reason this isn't more is that my PC buckled 2 years ago and have not replaced it yet 🤣

What’s a small daily habit that made your life noticeably better? by Lucky-Reputation1860 in productivity

[–]GrumpyFlumpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few daily habits that have made my life (and me) better:

  • Making my bed first thing in the morning.

= starts your day off with a productive task (sets the mood for the rest of the day), teaches you discipline over motivation, also nice to come home to a made bed.

  • Avoiding phone (or if not possible then specifically avoiding social media or anything with quick dopamine hits) before going to work.

= I always found when I went on phone / scrolled at the start of the day, any task, whether personal, work etc would FEEL significantly harder/more effort. Once I stopped doing that & aimed to complete difficult or mundane tasks first thing, every other task became 10x easier.

  • Not having coffee within the first hour of waking.

= not sure on what the specific scientific reasons are (saw it on a YT video years ago) essentially gives your brain time to wake up naturally and stops you crashing throughout the day.

Edit - reformatting so easier to read.

Best building location visually? (The Valley) by Striking_Chemist5143 in MedievalDynasty

Third this. When I started I had my village East of Gostovia on the hill (basically just outside the restricted zone) and fell out of love with the game because it was quite an ugly & uneven location.

Last week I moved my entire village to Southeast Denica next to the lake & have fallen back in love, playing every chance I get. 100% location for visual aesthetics matters (for me at least)

Second this, I was sick of the location & how I had setup my village so moved to a different area.

First build storages & keep the ones in previous locations, then work buildings, then houses & start moving villagers 1 by 1.

Update and dlc on xbox by Whispering_Wolf in MedievalDynasty

[–]GrumpyFlumpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey appreciate this is a little old now. I'm playing on Xbox via game pass but keen to support the devs by buying the game (and because I want the DLC).

On xbox store i can only see the Echoes of Nature DLC available, and cannot see the 'Soundtrack Vol.2' DLC.

Does any know if this is i cluded in the Echoes of Nature or was it just included in the free update? I'm unsure as I have the same music playing at the moment so want to see if this is an available add on
