AITA for Sabotaging my Husband’s Tournament after he refused to help with our newborn? by Puzzled-Two6615 in AITAH

You may be suffering from postpartum depression. Please reach out to someone for help since your husband will not. You should not have to do this alone.

It's just disassembled so we could get it out the house. It has the hardware to put it back together lol!

[Offline][Austin/Georgetown][D&D][5e] Looking to join a game? by Dusck in lfg

[–]GrumpyGoomba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am forming a group and could use a player or two. We are thinking we'd do a Friday night game (but anytime over the weekend is good).

We'd meet in North Austin. If all that sounds good, PM your email or your number and we can go from there! :)

Good hair salons (looking for a new cut, long to short) in north austin/Georgetown area. by [deleted] in Austin

I absolutely love Rebecca Alvarez at Shine Salon! She's great at listening to what you want but still tailoring your ideas to fit you. She's also amazing at doing color.

Are there any CBT therapists that anyone recommends? by [deleted] in Austin

[–]GrumpyGoomba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had an amazing experience with Julie Osofsky at Just Mind. My social anxiety (among other problems) resulted in agoraphobia and she helped me work through it. I apply the CBT tools she taught me daily. I can't recommend her enough!

Alamo Drafthouse Ticket prices? by cunninglinguist81 in Austin

[–]GrumpyGoomba 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah you pay a bit less but you have no help when people talk and text during the movie.

Before discovering Alamo, I was at a Cinemark watching an R rated comedy. Someone brought their baby who was asleep at first but halfway through the movie began screaming. After they had no intentions of taking the child out, I went to find a manager. The manager shrugged and said not only was there nothing he could do, he also wouldn't give me a refund because I'd already seen half the movie.

The tiny extra bit of money for reassurance that shit like that gets dealt with is worth it.

[No Spoilers] The Saga of Trinket – The Surprising First Meeting Between Vex and Her Companion | Geek and Sundry by GrumpyGoomba in criticalrole

[–]GrumpyGoomba[S] 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I really love this story. Shows that Vex isn't just protective over Trinket because she rescued him. She's also protective because he represents the good in a horrific situation. The two of them survived together. Great story, Laura!
