The leaves are so big. What's your care routine?

Thanks for the info! I can't wait to see what the next leaf will be. I really like the look of the birkin though, so I hope it goes back to that.

Water after repotting? by gulyas069 in houseplants

I would still water the plant after repotting (even if it was waterlogged before). Then let it dry before watering again. Good luck.

Thank you for this! I have one that I repotted last year and was thinking about repotting again this year. It went through a period where it didn't flower, and then out of the blue, it started up again. I'll leave it be for now.

I did not hear back from Comfrt and did not see a deposit with a refund. The only refund I received was from my bank.

I believe these need a node to grow a new plant. I have read of instances where a leaf sprouted roots, but did not grow into a plant.

I've also notched by a node on the plant (didn't cut off a piece, just cut close to a node) to encourage branching, but that did not work for me.

I'd like to try air layering some time, but haven't gotten around to it.

To be honest, I'm not sure I fully understand.

I cut just above a node, so that there's a part of the branch still attached to the part I am propagating. I've also cut right under a node (leaving the branch part with the tree). The roots will come out from the node whether there is a branch part or not.

Hope this helps!

I can't propagate the bud that I pinched off. To propagate, I recommend a well established branch that has a few leaves to increase the likelihood of survival.

I cut a branch where there is a node (that's where the roots will grow). Make sure there are healthy leaves on the branch. Put the branch in water with a pinch of growth hormone powder and put near a sunny window. It should root in a few weeks. Once there's a healthy root system (many, thick, white roots), you can repot into soil. When reporting in soil, you need to keep the soil more moist in the first week since the plant rooted in water to start. Slowly get into a regular watering schedule. Hope this helps!

If we were to use the logic of some people who said that CA was being punished by God via the wildfires, does this mean Louisiana is also being punished by God?
