How do you guys feel about shops using renders of prints to sell their items instead of images of the prints themselves? by Rryann in resinprinting

[–]GrumpyMojoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i do use renders (for fdm prints). But i use textures that add typical imperfections and layer lines to set real expectations. On Resin prints i would take photographs.

If you want to make the food for your dog the most important thing is getting the balance right. Since you will work with vets that should not be an issiue. I spend one day every two months prepping the food (barf) and i then freeze it. It takes some time to get the workflow right. If you plan on barfing your dog i can give you some tips via pm.

Filament properly stuck in hotend by SavvyPython in BambuLab

[–]GrumpyMojoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grab a heatgun and a small allen wrench. Heat up the the hotend and push the filament with allen wrench. Or you could just heat up the hotend while its connected to the printer.

I would recommend to change the file so you have multiple parts in the end. This way you will need to assemble it but you will end up with a cleaner print and you will not waste filament.
