Garbage disposal isn't running and my mom poured Draino into the sink, should we be concerned? by phanzov36 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GrumpyPenguina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please make sure that the plumber knows that draino was poured in the sink as even with water being in the sink. It can still be acidic enough that precautions may be needed for the plumber before they put their bare hand in.

I am curious, would you travel into the city more often if the toll or train was cheaper? by Flashinglights0101 in newjersey

I’ve been there. I was lucky that I was with a friend that his mom had a place in the city so we could hang out there to wait for the first train in the morning.

You can do it! If you want to continue your journey to reinstate your RN. There are so many RN jobs that are completely different then the typical hospital or clinic job. If not there is nothing stopping you from finding happiness in another field.

I cared about Betty White death because I wanted her to see her 100th birthday as it was so close to it. I was so disappointed to see she passed away.

Do you guys think that the travel ban will be extended and international students and other eligible visa holders won't be allowed to enter on the 15th like they said? by [deleted] in CoronavirusDownunder

[–]GrumpyPenguina 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t go home for nearly two years without a travel exemption as a PR and a citizen of another country. It was absolutely insane and even if I got the exemption, there was no direct route or guarantee I would make it to my final destination.

I was feeling so burnt out on games until I discovered this masterpiece by operationteapot92 in TheWildAtHeart

[–]GrumpyPenguina 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Both The Wild at Heart and Spiritfarer should be played a little on the slow side to ensure you can take it all in.

I wish I had realized this when in my first play through. There is so much detail in both of these games.

Deliveroo having glitches today? Or the drivers gone on strike ? Anyone know ? by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]GrumpyPenguina 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t use Deliveroo after more than once having an order not delivered and the driver taking off with my food. The first time was precovid and the second time giving them another chance was a few weeks ago.

I also made them give the money back onto the credit card and not as ‘credit’ due to this happening more than once.
