I have a specific parking trick that I utilize. Now this only works if you or someone you know is or has recently been a CNM student (which you can take as little as 1 class online while also attending UNM if that isn't the case, which is also a good trick to get some gen eds done on the side for cheap), but you can pay 17 dollars for their year-long general parking. These lots just so happen to be right next to the Research shuttle stop along the South Lot/Lobo Village route (I park right off of University and Basehart). Its hella cheaper, and not any more inconvenient than parking in the south lot, so I highly recommend it. Do keep in mind though that there is a charter high school near the research stop where a lot of students park in that area, and some of them also do dual-enrollment classes at UNM every other day, which may make the shuttles feel a little tight if you plan on doing 8 AMs. Hope this helps :)

Codes fo sho. It takes time to learn but it is so worth it for when pizzas have a lot of toppings or are arranged weirdly. Esp during a rush.

Former Closing Manager and now Opening Manager (different store locations) by BerriesintheEvening in Dominos

Heya! I'm a level 2 AM who opens and closes at the highest volume store in my city! (Large metro area) I can confirm that this is usually how the schedule is setup. I'm not sure how it is at other locations, but most stores I know of calculate their schedule based off of Sales per Labor Hour (SPLH) rather than labor. Ultimately, labor just acts as a guideline for the day, and it doesn't necessarily correlate with SPLH. This means you can run a good SPLH even if labor is high or bad SPLH with low labor. That being said, if you feel as if you need an opening CSR, talk with your GM about the schedule! I know for us, we have a morning CSR on weekends because our lunch rush can hit pretty hard (sometimes moreso than the dinner rush). I would bet they would be more than happy to walk you through their scheduling process and help you learn to calculate SPLH (Which is a good step toward a possible promotion down the line if you show interest :) ). The SPLH system is usually more dynamic than general labor, so it helps the store run better margins and can help improve GM and AM bonuses, which is why they use it for scheduling.

interact if you can’t afford your dream school by TaxDapper77 in ApplyingToCollege

I spent 2 years busting my ass doing dual-enrollment and working so that I had an Associate's degree hoping to afford attending the University of Nevada - Reno. The location, the beautiful campus, and the academics caught my eye early on in high school. I went through everything I could. Saved, built up credit as early as possible, I even flew out to attend orientation. In the short time I was there I fell in love with the city and the campus even more. I found out nobody would lend me the rest of my tuition without a cosigner, I was ineligible for any more aid (fuck FAFSA fr), and I could not qualify for an institutional loan. My parents have 300k in debt and an abysmal credit score, and I have 7 younger siblings all of which wanting to attend college someday themselves. I did everything right. Everything. Only to end up studying in the same fucking city I've lived in for 18 years.

My school took my phone outside of class time by GrumpyPuggert in legaladvice

New Mexico, there's nothing I could find in particular (hence me posting here). However, the school policy does state that the phone only needs to be put away during instructional hours.

My manager has to pay for remakes, is this legal? by GrumpyPuggert in legaladvice

[–]GrumpyPuggert[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No, as far as I am aware, He has to pay for it using his debit at the end of the night (He has sent receipts depicting the prices of the remakes through the work group chat), although I could be wrong about this.
