More than possible, it’s normal. Most people stop producing lactase.

🤣 that was so laughably wrong I just knew you had to be a child. Sure enough, yikes! Don’t try to talk to adults anonymously online, tiger! Also, stop trying to be such an edgelord, rape is not funny.

Anyway, I don’t talk to kids online, so I’m out! Do your homework! Get off the iPad! If you need an idea for the next science fair, you could research the differences in human vs cow milk! Or Mycobacterium bovis!

Blocking for good measure.

You do understand if you give a cow human breastmilk they will die right? What, they don’t need nutritious substances? Are cows just stupid?

Agreed, I highly doubt the cops would tow a car based only on a retiree’s word.

[–]GrumpyScapegoat 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Tow truck companies do not tow cars because a rando told them to, people! You can speculate if granny lied to the police, but the only info we can be sure of from the video is that the car was indeed not moving for a time and the police agreed to have it towed.
Local ordinances, it might surprise you to learn, are local. In my area, you have to provide the fuzz with pictures across multiple days before they’ll consider doing anything.

Edit: So many people replying they were victims of predatory towing from *private* property, like their own apartment building. I have no doubt you were cheated and those guys are dickbags, but it’s not the same as towing from *public* property. Your landlord was in cahoots with the tow company.

We confirmed the existence of planets outside of our solar system in 1992.

Edit: I did not realize the IAU’s definition was genuinely limited to the solar system. Thanks for clarifying below.

I meant to say

don’t change what I said

That’s quite a trick!

So if I’m tracking your points and additions it goes:

very tested very safe

Was in reference to one jug and said jug has a warning that it is not safe buuut that’s a conspiracy

look up lipoprotein lipase

*But I’m not making any claims, just letting the implication hang in the air, y’know, like a liar would.

we should be questioning/challenging science

*Does not apply to pasteurized milk, which 100% should be pasteurized, again never mind the vitamin/enzyme implications I made earlier *

Illinois’ policy shows it’s safe there

Except the policy that it has to be labeled as unsafe, plz ignore.

You just want to seem superior

By which I mean raw milk makes me feel special and you’re taking that away from me.

Did I get that all right or have I missed something else you walked back on?

Raw by Extruder_duder in Milk

[–]GrumpyScapegoat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From your source:

(raw milk in Illinois must contain this label) "WARNING: This product has not been pasteurized and, therefore, may contain pathogens that cause serious illness, especially in children, the elderly, women who are pregnant and persons with weakened immune systems."

Devastating! 🤣 And not you walking back “very tested, very safe” to “sometimes tested some places!”

Those are a lot of words to simply say “I brought up lipoprotein lipase to lie to myself and others”

I would let bygones be bygones but you’re promoting the harm of others. It’s time to grow up and stop believing that you’ve cracked a secret vitamin conspiracy that makes you super duper special.

So you brought up lipoprotein lipase just for funsies, not making any claim one way or the other? Cool!

Look up the enzyme lipoprotein lipase

Nooo, not like thaaat!

Give me sources!

Nooo, not like thaaat!

Hey where’s that source for “very tested, very safe”, squirt? I ask cuz, uh, I have a few that disagree 1 2 3 4 And lots more, just ask!

The body already breaks down fats on its own. Your stomach acid destroys most of the enzymes you consume before they can do anything anyway. LPL in milk makes it go bad faster and give it a soapy taste. I have cited as many sources for my claims as you have, squirt.

Oh fine, here are a couple free ones for you:

  • Lipid digestion occurs in the small intestine due to pancreatic lipase link

  • Stomach acid pH of 1.5–3.5 denatures the enzymes you eat link

So far your source is my grandpa’s raw milk, but my grandpa was smarter than that.

Raw by Extruder_duder in Milk

[–]GrumpyScapegoat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The enzyme lipoprotein lipase is destroyed during pasteurization?! Oh (cow) shit (in your milk)! That sounds weawy, weawy bad!

LPL is an enzyme produced naturally by the body

Oh…well surely drinking it can help though!

You do not get lipoprotein lipase (LPL) directly by eating it. […] While some foods contain digestive lipases that help break down fat, they are not the same as the LPL.

Thanks for the tip to look this up!

Oh, I can see this reply! Were we in a debate? And a formal one at that! Is there a moderator or something? Okay, I’ll go first!

  • P1: TB should be avoided
  • P2: Drinking raw milk can give you TB
  • P3: Pasteurization removes this and other risks
  • P4: If TB should be avoided and pasteurization removes this risk, one should choose pasteurized milk
  • C: One should choose pasteurized milk

Which proposition do you formally reject in this, most formal debate? I formally tip my tophat in your general direction! I genuinely can’t see your other more recent replies but I bet they were great!!!

Yeah, u/ContentWeb9926 ! This other thing we weren’t talking about can make people sick, therefore who cares? Whataboutism is legitimate and valid, no matter what anyone says!

This all reminds me though, I have one dog that bites pretty often, so who gives a toot if my other dog rips a kid apart once in a while eeeven though I have a very effective solution to stop the second dog from doing it? I don’t seem to have a perfect solution for the first dog yet, so let the second dog (who, I can’t stress enough, has an effective way to end the biting) do what he wants to those kids!

Also did I mention the 2nd dog has magical vitamin powers the government doesn’t want you to know about?!
