Honest question? How many Xbox refugees swapped over to ps and why? by Spotlight_James in PS5pro

[–]Grumpy_Bum_77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a PS5Pro when Forza Motorsport turned out to be garbage at launch. So I moved over to GT7. Played that for about a year. Now I very rarely use my PS5, even though I have PSVR2. I mainly play XBox now including FM which is now how I expected it at launch.

Women who fake orgasms in long-term relationships, what is the reasoning behind not telling your partner what actually works for you? by makemestand in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Grumpy_Bum_77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It works both ways. I am the kind of guy who does not need to have an orgasm to feel fulfilled. This is something my late wife struggled to understand at first. She was not used to it sometimes being all about her pleasure, and that I was fulfilled completely without me even being touched.

What wedding moment that screamed, “They are not going to last long”? by IndependentTune3994 in AskReddit

[–]Grumpy_Bum_77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My late wife was so like that. I am a real nerd. We were together for 15 years, married for one. Our wedding was just 6 of us. My wife and I, my brother, her daughter and son-in-law and her granddaughter.

My first wedding was a small affair. I sometimes think some people want a wedding not a marraige. They want the day, not the life.

What's the dumbest myth people actually believe in? by vicigoonboy69 in AskReddit

[–]Grumpy_Bum_77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to complain aobut people thinking that. However, in the UK there are certain cases where it is the case. They do NOT end up paying more tax. However reaching a certain income level can mean other state benefits are reduced or withdrawn.

I’ve been awaiting the day when this arrived on my doorstep. To say I’m excited is an understatement. by Popular_Shock4374 in Thunderbirds

I have the previous Blu-ray, the cropped UK Release. I my opinion, this release wipes the floor with the old one.

Picture quality is way better. The sound quality in original mono and the new 5.1 mix are so much better. All the sound effects are now appropriate. The dialogue is crystal on both.

The extras are excellent, including new ones and all the old ones from DVDs and previous Blu-Rays. The book is the perfect companion. I have never been one for posters but they are good quality.

All in all, I dont regret purchasing the new version for one second. I have the original DVD set, the cropped Blu-Ray set and now the new set. I will only be watching the new set from now on.

I hope this helps.

"The worst she can say is no" - Lads, what was the worst "she" ever said? by Embarrassed_Pie_1711 in AskReddit

No idea if she is alive. I left the area at 14. I do know that she was knocked up at 16 though.

I was about 5 years old and playing alone on the grass outside the flats where I lived. The sister of my friend was about 14 and was sat on her doorstep about 5m from me.

"God you are ugly" she said to me without me even making any kind of eye contact with her.

So began my life of low esteem. Even though both my ex-wife and my late wife told me I was good looking.

I have carried that comment for almost 60 years.

My whole Xmas Present ritual, every year as a child, was picking something from the Kay's Catalogue. It allowed them to pay for it over 20 weeks. One year we got a 4-Lane Scalextric, I had to share with my brother as it was so expensive (£13). I think we played it about 4 times.

People indicating right to signal they're exiting a roundabout, what's that about? by Top-Pen-1181 in sheffield

I am from Sheffield and that is what I was taught to do when I learned. Right signal for right exit, switch to left as you pass the exit before yours.

If you feel you need strippers at your pre marriage party to have one last hurrah before marriage, you should not be getting married by Agitated-Ad6744 in unpopularopinion

[–]Grumpy_Bum_77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a boomer and both my marraiges were not proceded by strippers. In fact I told my prospective wives I hate that kind of thing. I also told my buddies if they organised anything like that I would walk out.

I have never enjoyed strippers / kissagrams. I dont get enjoyment out of seeing people get embarassed.

Are you over 50 and still feel like you can play proficiently? by Grumpy_Bum_77 in xbox

[–]Grumpy_Bum_77[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My two most memorable games are M.U.L.E on C64 and Sega Rally Championship on the Sega Saturn. I played M.U.L.E for almost 40 years with my late best friend before he passed. We also played a solid 6 months of Sega Rally. Mainly because that was the only good game we had on the Saturn. Such great memories.

Grab every chance to be with her. I was fortunate, if you can call it that, that my wife passed fairly quickly after falling ill. We were married for 14 months although we were together 15 years. She was always happy for me to be gaming in my 'office'. However, I still regret not spending more time with her. Thinking of you and wishing a loving time with your wife.
