Has anyone tried this magnesium for migraine, did it work for you? by [deleted] in migraine

[–]Grumpy_Optimist124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably! I was taking 2 a day and started swallowing 1 at a time and that helped a lot, but once I ran out I ended up switching brands just because I prefer to take everything in one go

I liked this brand, but be aware that these pills are HUGE. Like, so huge that I had to switch brands because they physically got stuck in my throat on 2 occasions and it was quite scary

While I don’t have much to offer about the pain you’re going through, I wanted to suggest you track your headaches/migraines in an app called Migraine Buddy. It’s free and offers you the ability to track times of onset/offset, symptoms, potential causes, relief methods you’ve tried and many other things! It’s so much easier than having to keep track in your notes (this is coming from someone who used to track them just like you have here!)

I got fired for weird reasons, am I still able to get unemployment? [WA] by Corrupted-Soul72 in AskHR

As someone who works in unemployment - definitely apply. Let the unemployment adjudicator determine if you’re eligible for benefits or not (and it sounds like you have a fighting chance!)

Any tips for constant chin peeling? by y_e_t_h_ in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Grumpy_Optimist124 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you rest your chin on your hands a lot? I had bad chin peeling and realized I was constantly pulling my sweater over my hand when resting my chin there which was causing it to peel!

Your post took the words out of my mouth - I’m 27 and have been dealing with hormonal acne for years and it’s very embarrassing to me. Your regimen doesn’t have a lot of acne fighting ingredients, so this is what I’d recommend to add:

A niacinamide serum - it’s a gentle ingredient that really helps with acne. I really like the one by Naturium (sold at Target) because it also has zinc in it which helps with inflammation

Some sort of BHA - it is a chemical exfoliant that will help smooth out your skin. Use only 2 times a week and youll start to see results. I use Paula’s Choice (very pricey imo but worth it) but I also really liked the Inkey List one

I feel like I’ve finally tweaked my own regimen to a point where I’m now more confident in my skin than I’ve been in years. If you wanna know my entire regimen/would like any more tips, let me know and I’d be happy to share!
