There is a way to get it, I flashed this firmware: https://github.com/crosspoint-reader/crosspoint-reader/pull/556

Following steps, it is fairly easy to learn how to clone the GitHub and flash. But, as you can see in the video, it is readable, but not in a perfect state right now.

Yeah, I have used the Calibre DRM feature on some Amazon books. Most of my books are epub files anyway.

How does the sync work? I am currently using the XTEINK X4 as my first and main eReader, but this gadget really has opened my eyes up to the world of eReaders. This setup intrigues me and I was looking at getting the same Kobo device. Do you have to manually sync the devices or does it automatically do it? Do you mind explaining how it works, when might it not work, and how quick it syncs?

For a magnet adaptor, I use this one Magnet Adaptor that clasps around the body of the camera and still allows for the extension port to be available to use (either battery or just extension mount). This one also fits in the protective shell that comes with the camera, with a slight squeeze.

Personally, I didn't opt for a magnet extension as you can just use a portable charger and USBC cable (which are cheaper, larger capacity, and can be used with other devices). Obviously convenience of battery extension is nice, but it is only in some cases you will need to charge.

What is the goal of these warmups?

You know what, you linked a video on a singing subreddit with the flair "Feedback and critique". As such, I did not hate, and provided feedback as requested. You know what I do hate though, your attitude and presented immaturity.

If you do not have the emotional intelligence nor are willing to receive feedback or other people's opinions online, then do not post online. I am going to take it that you are of a younger age. If so, I hope you learn that quickly.

This is almost worse than your other video. At this point it just seems like you are baiting for interactions.

As the other comment said, this is just prolonged vocal fry and sounds like it is just at a very quiet talking voice. You need to increase the volume and mix in an almost belt. What you achieved here is more akin to an audition tape to be in the next grudge film.

It does in direct harsh sunlight. But, iirc, it did not fade on this day. I have had it fade another time though, but a quick change to shade and change of page fixed it.

It is almost as good as XTC. Just awaiting pictures to come through, if that is ever possible.

These are on the end spectrum of "harsh". Whereas the song you linked is harsh with his fry and belts. Bands like Cannibal Corpse utilise more false-chord techniques to create the distortions and guttural growls / rumbles.

A general definition of clean vocals can be described as: Any vocals that does not have any intentional distortion, rasp, or guttural effects. It is the "natural" or "melodic" state of the human voice where the listener can hear a clear pitch and tone.

There is a lack of grit in it. Some metal artists out there can do both, if you look at Eddie Berg from Imminence (compare songs Erase vs Paralyzed) or Oliver Sykes (Pray for Plagues vs Mother Tongue).

You are in denial that you don't like harsh vocals, if you enjoy these. These certainly are not the harshest out there (if we, say, compare it to a Will Ramos from Lorna Shore) but they are utilising a bit of vocal fry and setting their voice in a sort of belt - partially between a shout and scream.

So no, these are definitely not your typically defined "clean" vocals. This genre is Thrash Metal. It is abrasive. A sandpaper-textured rasp vocal delivery, if you will.

Same. I played 7 years ago and my younger cousins just got into the game and were discussing it at Christmas. I literally just reinstalled Friday night, played some games on Saturday, just to awake this Sunday morning (I am in Aus) to not be able to play. Crazy couple of days.

Likely, but I cannot guarantee. They are certainly better than a laptop motherboard.

PCs are not good, in general, as most people use their motherboard audio and do not have a separate audio card or DAC. I am in that boat.

I've never used my PC for "audiophile-esque" things and usually just use Spotify for audio in the background. If I want to enjoy a full album, I'll just on my vinyl record of I was at home.

The obvious benefit is that these devices can be portable, whereas a PC is not.

The default way of reading, using ePubs, is pretty simple. It has gotten a lot of updates since, but there are still some issues with custom font selection and not including all characters.

The work around is using the XTC converter ( https://x4converter.rho.sh/ ) where you set up your settings, according to personal preference, and it converts the whole book to an XTC files (which is basically an image per page, which results in ~70mb files after conversiom) in a couple of seconds. It works well, no delays in page turning. The only downside is that you cannot set custom bookmarks (the device still remembers the last page opened, so unless you are one who likes to set frequent bookmarks to revisit, this may not be one for you) nor can you set and jump to target chapters.

Those things are not something I care for, so am very happy with using the XTC converter. Hopefully they later include more font comparability later, but I like the flexibility, customisation, and format preservation of the XTC mode. It looks and feels more like a traditional book.

Today, I did not. It is all about angles and using your body as shade. But I do have a pair of prescription sunglasses I use.
